Had Black from 3G to 5. Went for Silver this time as iOS 8 is predominantly white-interfaced so I felt it blended better with the software.

I originally wanted a White/Silver but there weren't any stock so I got a Space Grey thinking I would return it when Silver was available but after using it I must say the black invisible bezels pretty much blew me away so I guess I'm gonna be keeping this!

I went with Gold because for whatever reason the Gold 5s's had higher resale value and in 2 years I might make an extra $100.

My case is black... and if I had to do it over again I'd probably get the Space Gray so the black front would match the case.

In the end though I really don't care. The white front isn't annoying in the slightest. My 5s was silver/white so I'm already used to it. If I want the phone to match the case I'll buy a different case.

Had the white 4s then switched to black for the 5s. I got a white iPad rmini and that made up my mind. I prefer the white front. I used to agree that the black front looked nicer as it blends in with the screen, but I think the white border is easier on my eyes when the screen is on (most of the time when I'm looking at my phone, the screen is on). The white also has that nostalgic "Apple" look.

Space gray, because I like the color, and because I prefer a black face, I think it gives better contrast to the screen.

I do like the white bezel on the gold and silver models, but could never bring myself to pass on the black.

Space Grey 6+ 64gb ATT. Got it because that was all that was left when I was waiting in line 9/19 Friday morning. Was aiming for Gold. But when the apple rep go to me Space grey and silver/white remaining. So i decided to go stealth. Space Grey and apple black leather case is a good clean combo.

Space Grey because I like the black face of the phone. Would have liked Apple to make it a little darker though.

How do you go darker than black? That's like wanting to whiter than white. lol

For all those who got SG, are you using cases? The SG looks no different than my 5 in a case (save the screen size) which is why I'm considering getting silver so it feels like a whole different phone

I have the SG in a black Apple leather case. I was going to get the white/silver with the black case cause I thought it looked really good. I may just go ahead and order the white/silver and sell my SG.

My four was black.

My five was black.

Just got tired of staring at a black bezel so I got the Gold and 100% happy with my decision.

I've always had black iPhones (2G, 3Gs, 4, 4s and 5). For a change, I bought a white iPad Mini with retina last year and really like it paired with a white (well, light gray) smart cover. It seems kind of futuristic, like something out of 2001: A Space Odyssey. But this time I went with Space Gray on the iPhone 6 Plus (which I haven't actually received yet). I like the way the screen disappears on the black models when it's not turned on, making it just a black slate. I'm not crazy about the big black square on the ones with the white fronts. And it's true that black is slightly less visually distracting when watching video or playing a game.

But honestly, they all look pretty fantastic. I had written off the gold originally but after seeing it in person, I almost regretted not getting it myself. If I could cancel my Space Gray and get a gold today, I would. Looks classy IMO and not at all tacky like you might think.

space grey = for males
silver / gold = for females

That's usually the trend I see with people and iPhones, but I say choose whatever floats your boat! ;)

Space grey, the "Silver" looks nice with the shiny ring around the home button, but the black just feels better and looks better. Fingerprints are a non-issue with the oleophobic coating they put on the screens now. I like how the screen and the bezels match when off. Watching movies is less distracting than the silver.

I have had every iPhone since launch and since the 4s I have always picked white/silver. With the 6 I decided to go SG. I agree with all the comments on how nice the black front blends in with the aluminum. It's beautiful, well at least when you hands haven't smudged it up. Not saying my hands are filthy haha, just that ever since I made the switch all I notice are all the finger prints. Pretty ocd I know but was enough to make me return it yesterday for silver. To each his own they all look great in there own way. Be happy with what you pick and that is all that matters. To categorize someone based on the color of the phone they pick is just stupid. Now everyone go enjoy your 6 or 6 plus for the reasons you bought it for.

Classic black and space grey.

Though am I the only one that thinks space grey is lighter this time around? The 5s was way darker.

Space Gray would have been PERFECT if it was the actual color of the iPad Air Space Gray. The iPhone 6 is too light.

I notice these things Apple.

I went with white/silver to match my iPad Air. I think the white looks the cleanest. The black fronts always look smudgy and fingerprinted.

Also as as side question. How many of you are using (or will be using) a screen protector on your iPhone 6/6+?

Yep, for now I'm using a red :apple: silicone case on it, but I'm waiting for my black leather case from Oberon Design.

No screen protector... haven't used one of those in a long time.
