by the way, can someone put a app they brought for their ipad to someone else's ipad?

The only way I could think of is to log into that person iTunes laptop as the purchaser of the app, download it and synch.

But the other person can never update the app unless knowing the ID/password of the purchaser.

I think that'd work but never tried it... Don't believe it is legal or honest.

If they share the same iTunes account then sure. My wife and I now share an iTunes account. We're able to share all of our apps between the iPad and our two iPhones while only paying for them one time. But I don't think this is what you mean. So while there is a way as mentioned in the last post, I don't think it's one that should be taken.

Atomic Web Browser.

For some reason, it isn't available in the App Store anymore. The lite version is though.

A close runner up is TuneIn Radio.

My favorite game is Disc Drivin'. I've been completely addicted to it for the past 2-3 months.

Home Sharing is designed for this purpose. It is legal and probably the easiest way to do it. You are limited to five machines to authorize apps on, however. Keep in mind, you will need their username/password to update the apps through the appstore or iTunes.

goodreader
Reads any number of document types, but also allows you to create deep folder type structures to keep stuff in ( for everyone that feels the need to treat your iPad like a regular computer.
You can link to your cloud/FTP site to grab things, or dump them into the GoodReader app folder in iTunes for sync
transfer.Oh and you can lock your folders with password protection so that all your porn vids/images are safe and sound.
Also, supports video AirPlay.

Most recently, has to be AVPlayer HD. Finally, no messing with conversion/muxing mkv's etc. Awesome.

Never been a fan of streaming before anyone suggests it.

Good Reader. Use it both at home and at work. Was one of my first apps I ever purchased... and have been using it daily ever since.

I love MLB for the iPad. It's annoying that it costs $15 (and even borderline obnoxious that it costs another $15 for the iPhone), but the audio streams and game tracker is cool for a baseball obsessed fan like myself.

I bought the iPad-1 (ordered online during first 5 minutes :)) for business purpose - to conduct presentation either via projector or across the desk in person.

During the first year, I was very disappointed with the quality of the software available to do so (and I bought a lot of them).

In the recent months, I have found 2Screens and 2ScrRemote.

They are perfect for what I need the iPad for - conduct presentation and using iPhone as bluetooth remote to control the slides/etc.

Apple removed both ato Ic browser and terra browser this past week. No clue why. Hopefully they allow them back on there.

Atomic is nice but terra seems to perform better and was free.

Best paid app for me? Hmm either tapatalk or goodreader would probably get the most use after those two browsers.

I know this app is free, but wunderlist is seriously growing on me. I might just have a keeper.

I liked Atomic web browser because it was the only one I knew of at the time which used tabs...once I got iCab though, it was MUCH faster, looked a lot better, and had way more features to boot.

I bought monopoly for $9.99 and i think it was well worth it. I bring my iPad to school and play it often, the teachers do not mind and i always have a 4 player game going. :)

to add to the list..i got this app when it was free, but it's defintiely a lot of fun - towermadnessHD.. don't know if it's worth the 8bucks or whatever it is now, but check it out..

I had hours of fun playing with looptastic on a massive speaker stack in the middle of an electronic dance festival the other day, had loads of people dancing.

Love that app :)

My faves right now:

* 2Do (surprised there's no mention of this one yet -- love love love it)
* Reeder
* iCab
* MyPad for Facebook

Air Display. It's been invaluable as a secondary screen for my MBP when I've run out of space for palettes and things in Photoshop and Illustrator.
