This seems entirely more relevant. People around here seem to not care that Apple contracts with companies with such horrible conditions that their employees are constantly trying to kill themselves. Heaven forbid someone who works for Gawker send Steve Jobs some angry emails!
It really puts into perspective how warped the minds are around here.
I felt the same exact way but couldn't put it into words so instead I dropped to my knees licked SJ's sack.
I love what a childish moron he is, asking the kid what he accomplished in his life. The kid was stating what non-fanboys want for the most part. And in typical Jobs fashion, he acted like a child himself. Bravo, Steve, you're a clown. Gonna make it more fun watching Apple fall.
I've been trying to post this on his gawker thread since 3 am, he refuses to publish it. Anything that would criticize the over inflated ego of Ryan Tate shall not be made public on gwaker. Here's what Ryan's to fearful to publish:

You don't need the app store or flash to access a porn site on an iPad or an iPhone.... Not that i would know anything about it..... Just what i've heard....

Not at all. To suggest that people cannot criticize because they haven't created as great of a product as those they critique is criminal. To even suggest someone cannot speak their mind, because it is critical of someone who has made more is morally apprehensible. Don't act like you've never critiqued Microsoft.
IMO, its pretty sad that Jobs would get into a flame war like this. He didn't have to continue emailing once the exchanges started getting heated.
As for morality: when are apple going to get rid of violent killing, or gambling games - surely they are just as bad as porn? ( Not that I'd support such a move). Once again, we go back to the "wardrobe malfunction" drama ( blink and you missed everything ) - americans seem to be so scared of the human body.
But you already have that choice. The internet has plenty of porn to offer and Apple in no way prevents you from accessing it. So what is your point? Please demonstrate how Apple is limiting your choice to consume porn.
It's true that Apple does not expand your current porn-consumption choices, because they aren't in the porn business. Surely you aren't suggesting that Apple or any other company should be forced to produce or distribute pornography just because some people vaguely equate porn with "freedom". Are you?

Porn is great. So is the internet. So is my iPhone. I can watch porn from the internet on my iPhone. I'm free to do all of that.
I really don't understand the arguments that Apple and Steve Jobs are "fascists" or "Orwellian". Are those the new buzz words to troll? Apple has an App store. They don't want to sell porn apps for various reasons. So what? They are LOSING money by not selling porn apps since they get a 30% cut of every priced app. That's a choice they get to make.

I never said that they have no moral, ethical, and legal responsibility what so ever. If you had read closely I said, they have no moral, ethical, or legal responsibility to offer all services that people demand. Please explain how NOT offering porn violates a moral, ethical, or legal responsibility. Read my post before you get all philosophical on me.
They day he does that is the day I stop buying Apple products. I've seen no indication that Apple or Steve Jobs as any intention of limiting the internet. In fact, isn't Steve and Apple the one pushing for an open HTML5 internet?
