How to get to USB-C... Apple recipe.

1. Keep ligthning on phone because people that have bougth accessories and adapter will complain
2. Update the Macbook to USB-C, because cool feature like charging and external display at same time
3. Still only add USB-A cable in new iPhone charging...
4. Sell tons of adapters $$$$
5. When all (not only fans base) have changed their HW having only usb-c and adapters made enough monney, create USB-C phone but do not include fast charger!!
6. Keep selling fast charger $$$
7. Don't forget to mention the amount of "courage" it has required to Apple switch to Usb-c in keynote...

1. USB-C would REALLY appeal to a lot of Apple fans.
2. XS and XS Max both should have 3 cameras.
3. I HOPE it is called the XI not "2nd Gen XS" which makes zero sense.

1. Still don't see why USB-C is requires. It would be good but not necessary. Unless they force the cable to support 18W+ Charging along with USB 3.2 Speed, otherwise the function of lightning and USB-C aren't that difference.

3. XI? That won't be doing well in China. I promise you

Samsung has no desire to spend more money on the display for higher frame rate, for a while now Apple has used better screens on iPhones than Samsung. LG is selling the
OLED65C8PUA tv which is 120 Hz OLED, but with a price tag to match..

That is not AMOLED, which is currently what all Mobile phone uses, it is WOLED, specifically designed for TV.

There are WOLED for mobile phone from LG, but we have yet to see LG releasing anything. The Samsung AMOLED 120Hz is highly unlikely to arrive in 2019

The second-generation iPhone XS Max is said to have a 4,000mAh battery, something that seems unlikely because the form factor of the device is not changing.

Um.... by increasing battery density? Which iPhone has the worst battery density of all. ( Due to various reasons, yield, safety etc )

What's the point of publishing a "sketchy rumor" where no one has had a chance to "confirm its accuracy" ?
This is not strictly a news site. The entire reason this site was funded was to gossip about new rumors of upcoming products.

Sketchy Rumor Suggests 2019 iPhone Could be exactly the same, with just a bit better specs.

Exciting!

There’s no way Tim Cook will put that much new kit into the next iPhone without putting the price up. Plus, they need something for next year’s iPhone.

So what would you do if high end Android phones dropped the fingerprint sensor and added a notch? Go over to Windows Phone?

And what if Apple sells the same phone with notch and without notch!!!

Which one would you pick?
I already know which one you and the rest of the world will pick.

In other words everyone likes a phone without a notch better. Period.

sound really nice, but its really true who knows...God probably only, and the start price is good question at this point. I hope it stay like is or lower as 8/8 Plus

If they raise prices more, they're insane. This year's models are already selling slow as molasses, partly due to the lack of innovation and a stale OS and partly due to the absolutely ridiculous pricing.

Adding more RAM and a better zoom camera is just playing catch-up with the Android crowd. Except for raw processing power, the iPhone has fallen far behind. And when factoring in how far behind they are when it comes to digital assistants and services, this is just becoming ridiculous. To do damage control at this point, they'd better drop Siri altogether and extend their cooperation with Amazon to include Alexa on their hardware.

So tell me which samsung phone has a notch??

A quick search pointed me to the Galaxy M10/20/30 with a V notch.

Depends on what I have to give up. I actually like the FaceID so I’d rather have whatever screen design means I get that.

I really want USB C too but you overestimat the general populations enthusiasm for it.

Most people will see it a hinderance having purchased a lot of lightning based products over the years.

Only internet geeks who constantly refresh reddit and macrumours for the latest news think USB C is a massive issue.

120Hz refresh rate is the only hardware thing they could add that I would care about really. Everything else is software. iOS 13 is the real thing to watch out for this year, although going by past releases I shall remain pessimistic, although my hopes for a much better (re)design with the fluidity plus stability of iOS 6 remain.

...

I hope you're being sarcastic here, or are we talking about a different Apple from the "Let them buy dongles" Apple I'm thinking of?

4. Sell tons of adapters $$$$
Sell two $19 adaptors per iPhone with a 40% profit margin results in extra $15 of profit per phone. Increase the price of the iPhone by $100 results in a, drumroll, $100 extra profit per phone.

Article needs updating. Someone just copied Geskin’s wish list. Time to pack it up

Anything that reports such a round number for battery capacity (4000 mAh) is obviously made up. If anything, Apple shoots for a specific battery life in hours and/or a device thickness, with the battery capacity ending up at whatever odd number this results in. The chance of this ending up with three zeros is probably 1 in 1000. Moreover, at this point in the design state, there will still be small changes in battery capacity because slight improvements in battery technology or slight changes in power consumption or dimensions of internal components are still possible.

TV OLED and Phone OLED are not the same, even though the name is the same.
PSVR has “Phone OLED” and runs at 120Hz. PC VR OLED headsets run at 90Hz.

Playstation VR uses a 5.7-inch AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 resolution that runs at 120Hz.

For anyone who didn’t read the front page: The article was updated to be ‘Fake’, as these features listed are someone’s ‘Wish-list.’

Perhaps you can explain then why every smartphone uses PenTile and this uses RGB.
