Bank hols... Unless there is a seperate delivery company, I don't think we're not going to see it until Tuesday!

I dunno if the parcel is supposed to come differently but the fact that the guy who took the UPS tracking says its out to delivery is good news.
That means if all goes well, it should arrive today by 5:30pm. Gosh, if the wait till 11:00am is going to be a pain, one can only image till 5:30 or worse till tuesday!
Oh well, on a positive note, we will know of all SL flaws before we install since US customers were promised today delivary

It goes through sorting centres and some are on strike. So packages will just lie dormant until they get sorted.
For what its worth my neighbour just received a package via Royal Mail. But I don't think it was Snow Leopard as it was a big carton.
Just phoned G3 (Spring) to try my luck at finding out if there's any chance of it arriving today. Turns out G3 don't have a tracking system so no luck there. Not sure how they can really operate efficiently without a tracking system to be honest but there we go. One thing she did confirm is that it is International shipping.

Order it off the online store. By the time you get it, the other stores will probably be getting their stock anyway.

I simply walked into my Apple reseller and bought a copy this morning, its running like a champ. Are there no resellers in your area you can get to? I'm in the UK.

for the record I ordered mine just this week and order status says its been scheduled for delivery today and courier used is UPS (i Paid for the extra postage). UPS in the UK are renowned for turning up when they damn well pleased so If I get it today I'll let you know

Just went into Solutions-inc in Guildford and picked one up. My shipping status hasn't changed and our postie just went by without delivering anything. I had this weekend blocked out to freshly install my 4 machines. No way am I waiting until Tuesday
Just curious... people that have received their up to date disk by mail today... was it regular mail? Recorded? Special Delivery?
I ordered family pack on 26th in the morning, postman's been, nothing but bills!

When Leopard was released, most people didn't receive their up-to-date copies until the following week.

thats a good idea - return other disc to apple!
Might do this. Is the update disc box & barcode exactly the same or does it have any special sticker on it differentiating it?
