Snow Leopard in the UK

Think there's no online tracking, but in the end it is still signed for ... I THINK....
Same here, its 1pm and i have not seen the post man or received any post today.
KrayzieKray Update: postie came in the terrible weather (hailing) and dropped off a letter. So no snow leopard.
Unless there is a different parcel company doing it. Just for people to know, my order dispatched on 26th and reached macclesfield (my town) on 27th. So who knows, it might come today
On the bright side, we get to wait and watch of bugs and then install snow leopard under the fear of something going wrong

I walked down to my local Apple Store in Exeter and bought it at about 11am. Paid my £25, rushed back and installed it. I'm using it now!
Amazing installation process, unbelievably simple. Put the DVD in and click install - come back an hour later and its done!

Interestingly, Snow Leopard has now completely disappeared from Amazon UK - it's not even listed as a product at the moment!

There's only PC World in Wolverhampton and I doubt if they will have it yet. The nearest Apple Premium Reseller is at the Merry Hill Centre, which is where I'm picking mine up from in a half hour.
Hmmm. I popped into Currys in town on the off chance and then realised they no longer have software in there!
I'm hoping the Bullring Apple Store hasn't had stupidly low stocks and sold out by the time I get there.
All of us in the UK... So long as you ordered before wednesday/tuesday, then it should come today, even if you took standard shipping.

It will NOT come WITH the normal mail, it has been sent as a standard parcel, so Postman Pat will come in his little red van and deliver it to you separately, it can get delivered anywhere up to 5pm.

Sorry, but if you're taking that from the online status where it says "Shipped to" and then your home town, it doesn't mean that's when it arrived there.
Think I'm right in saying that if I end up buying this at an Apple Store this weekend, it won't cost me anything to send my postal copy back to Apple when I receive it under their 14 day returns policy? I know I didn't have to pay any return postage for a computer I once returned, just not sure about software. Anybody know? Their T&Cs don't mention any return postage charges.
That's encouraging to hear, could you tell us where you got this info from though?
I would be inclined to go along with what you're saying as I think it was like that when I got Leopard and Tiger delivered on release day - the only thing is that by now (1:30pm), I would have expected about 50% of people in the UK to have received theirs, whereas it seems that virtually no-one has yet.
Hmmm... just noticed it lists the ASDA Store right opposite where I work. Never noticed Mac software in there before! :-s

Hopefully you should be ok, the Apple Store in Exeter has tons of copies. A whole table was dedicated to snow Leopard with loads more upstairs in the software section. No sign of them selling out at all.

-Apple Told me when I phoned.
-Royal Mail told me, as for some reason they know that Apple (Apple's stockist in the UK anyway) has got loads of parcels going out. The person I actually spoke to was waiting for his copy when he gets home too! LOL
-PCWorld (Dixons group) told me that none of the stores or online are stocking it, she phoned 5 different stores for me, none of them had it yet.
My local asda store is listed also. Called them before, they don't stock any software
I certainly hope this is true. If so, great snow leopard today then! We get what we deserve if we preorder something.
People who are going to buy another copy in the store are going to give a false boost to the sales figures, which i am absolutely fine with
Not to overly nit-pick, but Comet isn't a DSGi company. It is, however, just as crap as one.
PC World in Croydon (which has an Apple section) seemed to think they were getting it this afternoon.
UPDATE: They just updated me saying that they are now getting it tomorrow.
