And? 10.5 was delayed
twice.
10.5 Leopard was first announced June 6, 2005 at WWDC '05 with an "intended" release window of "late 2006 or early 2007 right around the time when Microsoft is expected to release Longhorn." DELAYED
10.5 Leopard was re-announced August 7, 2006 at WWDC '06 with a "scheduled to ship in Spring 2007" release window. DELAYED
10.5 Leopard was re-announced June 11, 2007 at WWDC '07 with an October release window. FINALLY SHIPPED

Of course we did get 10.2 Jaguar, 10.3 Panther and 10.4 Tiger before Vista finally shipped. 10.1 Puma was released a month before Windows XP. Not to mention, Apple transitioned from PPC to X86 during the time frame also.
Microsoft finally shipped Vista to consumers in January of 2007.
Why are you posting facts? Us fanboys don't care about facts. If you continue to post facts I'll be forced to cover my ears and shout "LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA" continuously at the top of my lungs.
So now that we've made clear that this is a
NO FACT ZONE, let me tell you want us fanboys believe, and consequently want you to believe, irrespective of facts:
1. Apple is perfect; and
2. Microsoft has never innovated. They only copy Apple; and
3. Apple products are superior in every way to all competition; and
4. The Palm Pre and Android OS should be sued out of existence because Apple invented the concept of touchscreen phones; and
5. Apple should sue Microsoft for having integrated search, similar to spotlight, even though the feature was first demoed by Microsoft in 2004 in an early build of Longhorn. This fact is immaterial, though, because Apple shipped Tiger first, and as you know, fanboy logic being what it is on this matter: we believe this means Microsoft copied Apple's Spotlight idea; and
6. People who install copies of OS X on non-Apple hardware should be criminally charged with violating Apple's intellectual property, because buying a copy of OS X for $129 does not give you the right to use it as you choose. It belongs to Apple, and you must do what they say. Or go to jail.
If there are any other things you have questions about, regarding us fanboys and our immutable opinions on these matters, please shoot me a message.
