Hey guys, here's my case.
I'm in Montreal and it's being delivered by Purolator. Problem is, they don't show any tracking information. In the email Apple sent me, it says "tracking number : none".
I tried entering my postal code and such, but without a tracking number, Purolator refuses to say if I have a package waiting or not.
Yeah, you heard it. It's
still not delivered. How scandalous is that?
I pre-ordered it August 20 with the Up-To-Date program. It was shipped by Apple August 28 at the end of the afternoon and then sent to Purolator Canada with Standard Shipping.
Some people got it like August 27th and we're now September 7th and I still don't have it. I get that today is not a business day for Purolator, but why didn't they deliver it last week?
I won't use my brand new MacBook Pro for University that I received 2 weeks ago because of this. No matter what I do on it, it'll be erased in no time. I want to do a Clean Install and then install all my apps and games, then install Windows 7 + apps + games, then import my documents. I know it's not an argument to convince purolator to deliver it ASAP to me, but it's still quite shocking. I know people who didn't pre-order it and it's been a week that they have it now.
Is anyone else in my case? Because I'm suspecting Purolator has lost the package... I have to wait until Thursday and then I will call Apple if I haven't received it. Then it can take some more extra time to re-ship it and deliver it. Annoying...
If other people are in my case, fine, Purolator sucked this time, but at least I will know my package may not be lost after all.
