Wife just found a Gold Stainless 40mm and SBSS 44m in Boca Raton and Aventura. Will set them up when she is done shopping.
I reserved my 40mm SS this morning in the app. When I was there to pick it up, I asked if they had the 40mm SS gold, even though online it shows they don’t. They did have it available! If they don’t have what you want online, go to the store anyway. I’m in line for a watch that showed as unavailable online, but they have it available for walk-in.
I showed up at 7am to the Sacramento, CA store expecting to see a long line. Only saw about 10 people. I was greeted by an apple employee and they reserved a 44mm Space Black SS Watch. Came back at 8:30 and picked it up. They appeared to have plenty in stock
They are creating hype for themselves by showing out of stock everywhere.
People pre ordered. If in stock and pre orders are a week away people will cancel and walk in.Very doubtful. The best "hype" for Apple would be to get a new watch on the wrist of as many people as possible, as fast as possible. That's how you get people talking about Apple Watch to their friends and family. Showing "out of stock" when you have stock is a terrible way to make that happen.
Apple updates their online store at 8am (your local time) everyday. It will show what's available by model. You just buy and select the store you want for pick-up. Inventory goes fast though.

Sounds like you need a new wife.
I don't know what the threshold is but the store reserves a certain number of each model for walk-ins before they show in stock online. They may have some, they may not if it doesn't show available online - a gamble if one just wants to walk in and try.Anybody know if they have stock avalible that isn’t listed in the app? I’d go and find out, but my nearest store is an hour away.

Anyone know if you can get the AT&T financing at the Apple store, or do you have to buy directly from AT&T to do that?
