So is there any walk-in stock at the Apple stores...?

Ive been keeping an eye out for silver aluminum with the seashell loop and only see a couple stores in the US with any otherwise shipping is almost to november. I grabbed the SG with the sport loop originally but Ive had this color since series 1 and am tired of it now plus im not a fan of the multi color "black" band on this. I picked up a silver aluminum with the white sport band for now and hate the white rubber band on this one, really would like to get the seashell band.

You just have to keep checking the website/app each morning around 8:00 am local time. I saw a 40mm silver aluminum with the seashell sport band available at 8:05 Sunday morning at my local store, bought it through the Apple app for in-store pickup, and had it on my wrist that afternoon.

I checked again an hour later and it was unavailable (along with most other configurations) within hundreds of miles.

So you’ve just got to keep checking and be ready to pounce!

You have to do it through AT&T, you can double check by when you check Apple's website there is no AT&T financing option

I can vouch for this, as I was first in line right ahead of him, and wanting the same watch...... Both of us took the opportunity to give feedback to Apple on their sketchy "first come first served" method. A half dozen employees with devices spread themselves down the line and each took a few customers. It is possible that someone quicker down the line snagged our 44 SS white sport bands despite our being in line hours earlier.....

Hey! I actually grabbed the stainless yesterday. Went by for SBSS today (2nd watch) and they were out. 10 mins later iStockNow alerted me and I grabbed a SBSS with black sport band. Picking it up later..... Thanks~!

i did, too. a SS with Milanese and then the gold sport (however, i'm pretty sure the gold is going back for a SG sport. I'm NOT a fan of the "gold" color.)

I figured my stainless steel is durable enough for whatever life throws at it. By the time it visually needs to be replaced Series 5 will be here....

A) Pick up a device reserved specifically for you = pay in advance on apple.com, select in store pick up.

B) Pick up a device that comes from normal stock with no guarantee it will be in stock when you arrive = just show up to the apple store and ask for what your want.

Picked up a GSS w/stone band but havent even opened it yet as I had my heart on the Milanese and didnt want to set it up just to return it but looks like today will be the day I open it finally. NOW the Milanese version will become available lol

I stopped into my local Apple Store for the 3rd day today. No stock but I had time to check out the S4 in person. There is a noticeable difference over the S3. Everything looked small on my watch when it put it back on. I checked this thread when I got home then had incentive to check the Apple Store inventory one more time. Yes!!! I found one store that has what I want! I have to drive over an hour in a store to get it but I'll have one on my wrist tonight!

Had the original gold all, smashed it earlier this year by accident and got a SG Nike as a replacement
