I've been eagerly awaiting an update for this too..

I was hoping some other developer might make a similar tweak given it's popularity if Ashman doesn't update it, especially since there are so many Cydia tweaks that do basically the same thing out there.

I'd gladly pay 1.99 for an iOS 6 compatible WeatherIcon!!

anyone know what theme this is?

Lock screen is a modified Auros user mod SB widget by nateD called "nateD auros SB theme" combined by a widget that Schnedi made called "SB SideForecast i5 theme". The weather icon image set was from The_Durben's gps weather widget. I created the walls and overlays for a specific look I wanted... but mainly for fun. The SB screen theme is by Schnedi called "Andro HD".

Apologies if this is being said on Twitter or Facebook, but I use neither. :/
Tempted to email the author... but many comments on Google are there are no responses. Hell, I'd be willing to pay for this it's so great. >_<

David just released the update named WeatherIcon 6. Available in Cydia.

What repo?

apt.dba-tech.net/beta/

VERY early beta.

Any ideas how to get the temperature to display in Celsius rather than fahrenheit?

Glad to have the tweak back. I have an issue with weather not updating but I'm sure it'll get fixed in time.

the weather is way off about 6 to 10 degrees for some reason. It does not match temperature in stock weather app

Is there a "real feel" setting? If not, it's possible he accidentally built the real feel temp into the tweak. If that's the case, I'm sure hell fix it soon. Also, does the weatherIcon location match the weather app's location? It's beta, I'm sure it'll get fixed if nothing out of the ordinary jumps out at you. Beta packages almost always have issues, especially the first beta run of a package on a brand new firmware. I'm just gonna wait until its further along until I install it.

Is the temperature not updating at all for anyone else? If I go into Cydia, it keeps telling me theres an update for weatherinfo 6, yet its the same version installed already. If I reinstall and go back weather is updated, however it never updates again beyond that. If I go into notifications and fiddle with the settings, again it'll update to the current (or very close to) temp, but it never seems to continue to update @ any interval (checked it last night before I went to bed, and it showed the same temp this morning when I woke up), even when I click it, the weather updates, but the temp on the icon doesn't change.

You have to install libweather as well. Then it will update.

So it didn't install it at the same time it installed weathericon 6 I presume? I didn't pay attention to what it said it needed/was going to install, so I'll give that a shot.

Thanks.

Edit: still doesn't seem that it's updating. If I click on it, I get the current weather, but the icon isn't updating to reflect it. If I go into notifications and weather, then click on whatever the setting is for "application" and check off "Weather", then it updates to the correct temp, but I have to do it every time, its just not updating on its own.. I know its still *very beta*, so I'm not sure if this is one of the glitches that will exist until it's updated a bit more.
