1.1.4 for iPod touch...hmmm...NO CHARGE!!

Wow, just like version 1.1.3. I think that ones a given.

For the iPhone apps/paid iPod Touch App's I'd like mark all as read for Mail and mass delete too.

Generally Copy+Paste and a file system would be nice.

hey, how about this one!?

being able to delete MULTIPLE FRICKEN MAIL MESSAGES at once!!

Wow, what a novel concept. Argh. I cannot understand what is so complicated about that one that they can't implement it. I get a lot of email and unfortunately a lot of spam, and since the mail program has no junk filter of any kind :)mad:) I have to spend a lot of time deleting junk.

That one would be me so very happy.

How about the long awaited (and still not understood why its not in there already) 802.1x capability! Garghhh!

Mms

I'm as big a Mac fan as the next guy, but I'm stumped as to why they haven't upgraded the software to allow for MMS messages. Seems ridiculous that the most innovative and advanced phone in the entire world can't do something that the most basic phone does with ease. Is there another phone out there that has this same deficiency? Boggles my mind. Plus it's annoying when you can't see what someone just sent you without being near wi-fi.

This couple be possible and i just havent found a way but, how about being able to send more then one attachment in an email, like two pictures and such.,

but other then that:
Native AIM client
Ability to save files from emails/websites
Disk Mode
SMS Display/Management Options
Voice/Video Recording
Better BT
Copy/Paste
Flash Support

Thats it thus far for my wishlist....:D;)

What do you mean by that? It uses 802.11b/g WiFi no?

802.1x is something different, its a security issue i believe

Yea, it uses that, but 802.1x is not actually a Wifi. It is a secure login used by colleges, hospitals, businesses, etc. You need to enter a login name and password, not just a password, which the iPhone is capable of.

• Delete multiple e-mails at once
• Standalone Contacts app (like on the iPod Touch)
• Flash support

Ahhh, I understand. I'd never heard of 802.1x before.
Live and learn ;)

Exactly. Technically 802.1x is a type of VPN.

I'd just like its featureset to be on par with my BlackBerry (that I sold to get the iPhone).

I mean, the iPhone is far superior in terms of web browsing, and overall interface...and obviously capabilities. But it's the little things: text/email search, copy & paste.

Just the essentials. I know they'll come in time...it's just taking really long.

I've got to have voice dialing so I can be hands free in the car -- like my Treo.

I am surprised more iPhone owners are not complaining about this. It is very hard to dail and drive on a phone that has no keypad.

If I get voice dail in 1.1.4 I will never ask for an update again.

A2DP Bluetooth profiles.

I'm assuming Apple is just waiting to unveil its own wireless headphones.

A more stable Safari might be nice as well. I'd like to be able to keep two seperate pages open, and actually go back and forth between the two.

Cover-flow for the contact list would be nifty.

definitely flash, mms, abilitly to use it as a small hard drive, and copy paste. I think flash by far is the most important. There are lots of websites that are all flash and completely useless on an iphone

Yeah Its all nicey, nicey for you iPhone users but us iPod touch owners have to pay $19.99 (12.99 pounds)!

I'm an iPod touch user too, 1.1.3 was free.

You just had the opportunity to buy some additional applications which weren't originally included with the iPod Touch for £12.99. There'll also be additional opportunities to buy new applications when the SDK comes out.

Needed

*MMS
*Unleash of bluetooth profile (so I can connect to my TOMTOM 720 :) )
*Copy/Paste
*Ability to "open in another window" for a link in Safari
*Voice Dialing
*Notes Syncable to the Stickies application in OS X
*Alarm goes-off even if phone is off !
*Now, for multiple recipients in SMS, make it so u can just push the + button and check off everyone then click on "done" instead of having to push + for each person and go through your contacts for each recipient you want to add.

Want, but not absolutely needed

*Implement features of "CameraPro" from Installer.app. + add image stabilization for camera.
*Video Record
*iChat or equivalent
*(For Google to allow directions by GPS to be automatic instead of pushing "next"...."next"....."Next"...) I know its a Google thing, not Apple...
*Ability to use widgets interchangebly with OSX, if that's possible.

MMS, video is 'flipable' (meaning that videos can be viewed in landscape no matter which side the Home button is on), forwarding of SMS messages, Flash support, copy and paste, email attachments (photo attachments).
