Not sure if I am right but i swear the price of the Apple Watch has come down by £30 this year compared to last. I just spec'd it up and its £399 as opposed to £429.

Ouch. Was excited when seeing it on Apple's site comparing my current AW6, U2 and U3. Bummer if this is not true, but kinda expected, cause I asked myself why didn't they mention it in their key note. Thinner and longer battery life. Perhaps they planned it at some point similar to the S9 => S10 upgrade, but reverted for some reason. Rumors
I preordered the 11 in titanium last night. Cancelled this morning. Going to order a refurbished 10 in titanium from apple. Upgrading from an aluminum 6. 749 compared to 569 is a no brainer for nothing spectacular. I may get a refurbished ultra 2 for $20 more. Just gotta see how big it is on my wrist.
Has anyone already been charged/had their order go to "your order is being prepared for shipment"? Mine moved to that step within 30 minutes of me placing the order. I am no longer able to cancel the order. I was surprised because it seems a bit early. I know it doesn't mean the order is imminently shipping. My AirPods Pro 3 are still on "processing" and can be cancelled.

Hopefully. I did wonder if it could even be the particular model I ordered. I've never ordered the Hermès series before. I considered cancelling to pick a different band but Apple had already moved the order along!
For reference, I placed the order yesterday at 2:20 p.m., eastern time IIRC. So quite soon after pre-orders opened. Within 30 mins, it had moved to preparing to ship.
I placed mine as soon as possible (19:25 GMT-1); the doors were open for pre-order the moment they announced it. I don't know, I will be notified by my bank when a withdrawal happens, regardless.
I have an Ultra2. I don't see a big reason to upgrade, except that I want one in black, and the current trade-in value of the one I have is pretty good.

Ah, there was a Three logo on that slide in the keynote. It’s Three Austria (not UK) which has the 5G footnote in the cellular providers list unfortunately.
I think from that wording of that EE page that we will get 5G along with 4G watch coverage. Fingers crossed!
I have been going to the gym a lot more the past several months, and I have run into several instances in which having a wider viewing angle, plus the faster refresh, would be very useful. I have three Apple Watches - Series 7 aluminum, Series 9 SS Gold, and the Ultra 1. None of these watches have that feature, so I do want to get one of the newer watches. The SS Gold gets all of the new health features (and has the original blood oxygen), so I think I will keep that one. In the videos I have seen, I like the "space grey" Series 11, so I may get that.
I went from an OG to a Series 4 to an SE2, and I'm sorely tempted by the SE3. I may well nab one when the first sales come around.
