I'm all about the bumper. Doesn't hide the phone (I cover with c/f back any way) and offers a great amount of protection for me. I don't drop my phone very often (learned my lesson with a destroyed 3gs.... well multiple destroyed 3gs's lol) and it has survived the few drops I have had. Simple, elegant, go bumper stylee!

This question's probably been asked already but will the iPhone 4 case fit on 4S?

Thinking of getting this

some really ugly cases in here!

i will be using the element vapour pro for sure (in white).

I might get the Griffin Etch with the carbon effect. My friend has one for his '4 and it's really nice. Not sure if it will fit on the 4S though, isn't the mute button position moved slightly.

Need to find out and try and sort one before next week.

Also, is it true the white iPhone 4/4S's are thicker? Would that affect case compatibility?

This is the profile of the case in mind, would the mute switch be OK with the 4S?

The carbon fibre look is try-hard

I wanted to buy a bumper similar to what Apple offered, although one that doesn't scratch the metal antenna. Any ideas?

The Neo Hybrid Ex looked nice but reviews say that the materials do not hold up over time.

Anyone else annoyed with the typo in the title? It's bothering me to no end.

Again, though, I'm going for front and back screen protector and bumper.

Switcheasy CapsuleRebel case. Had the equivalent for my 3GS and it has been amazing.

I had the same, recommendation from a friend that worked out amazing. I didn't buy one yet but this was my first thought. For now, I bought a back skin from etsy.com and I'll probably pick up the best skins ever body protection since that's also a product i've used a lot. I'm caseless with my Droid X now, dropped once and it did scrape the corner while it was in a case. I figure a phone is a phone but I'd like to at least try to keep it clean.

My eyes is also on that Neo Hybrid X; they're out of stock it seems with the exception of pink and I just don't do pink. Hoping its worth the price tag though, looks like it's fairly flimsy.

I'm thinking of getting this in Low Ride Plaid or Hydrant Big Stripe Fade...have you heard anything about this case yet? I can't find any videos or reviews online...

Nothing! I'm going on a whim. I love the fitted case but wanted a candyshell for protection. This one is supposed to be a semi mixture of the two so I figured I would give it a shot. The other big thing was this case is only slightly larger than my 3gs naked (.1") so it should fit into my armband without taking the case off.

Do they usually carry them in AT&T stores? I was going to go in and see if I could trade in my old Android phone (if it's possible) to maybe get one.

I believe they do. I've also seen them at Target, FWIW. Can't remember offhand of any other places other than those 2 and Apple Stores.

I ordered a Otterbox Deffender for an iphone 4 on eBay. The lady at Otterbox company said that the case will not fit because the proximity sensor has slightly moved on the 4S. I am calling her bluff and I'll post on here as soon as I get my case and phone. Hopefully she's wrong :)

See, but I think that's a sales gimmick. Maybe it's not, but I would be willing to bet that it is.

I'm not really worried about the camera flash as much as the sensors lining up on the front. Remember Otterbox saying it won't work n the white iPhone 4? That's this issue I'm wondering

I'm still not sure. I know I definitely want a case this time around though. The otter box is just too big. I can't use that case.

Otterbox Commuter (black).

Did the proximity sensor not work on the white i4 with the defender case?

I had ordered a case for the 4 off of amazon. Looks like I'll be sending it back. I went back and ordered one direct from Otterbox. I liked the blue/black they had for the 4 but they don't have that color combo for the 4s.

Here are some images that show the differences between the cases. The first two are for the 4s the last two are for the 4.

Before i planned on getting a 4s i picked up a pixelskin hd so i will be using that, i also have an at&t candyshell which i will see if it fits but i will be giving that one to my dad if it works.....might pick up the candyshell redesign for my own phone

dont know if the mute switch will be misaligned in my pixelskin, and if it is dont know if it will bother me or not

Interesting that no one has mentioned the incase snap. I've been using a smoke colored snap case for my iP4 for months and it's about the sleekest, least tacky looking case out there IMO.

I have this case, it is nice. I wish it had some kind of bumper for the front, but if those phone drops screen down, I don't think the case will offer any protection to the screen.

I'll be using the same case I have on my iPhone 4 right now. I will be adding a screen protector though as I have scratches on my scratch-resistant iPhone 4 face.

Otterbox Defender. Simply the best protection for construction work.

When it goes naked out on the town, it doesn't look like a dirty, sunburnt hippy.
