I installed the profile and downloaded the update to my iPhone running iOS 14. However, it won't install on my series 3. Claims it needs 3.1 gigs free to install and my watch has only 2.5 available. Ask to delete apps or content. Oddly, I have NOTHING installed other than what is installed out of the box, no apps, no music. Hmmm, maybe delete some of the stock apps to free up space? Anyone else ran into this?

I did, I had to re-pair watch to clear enough hidden cruft to install..

I really /would/ like to know what the 1.1gb being used that isn't shown allocated to anything is though..

I’m running on my series 3. Sleep tracking working well. Battery life seems fine so far. Only thing I think we‘re missing is the hand washing feature

What about watch faces, do you get the chronograph pro watch face?

Can somebody check massages in the cloud? Now I can delete iMassage from iPhone/mac and it dissapear from watch but not normal sm/text (green bubble). It is changed in WatchOS 7?

No, SMS messages are not deleted from the Watch when deleted from the phone. Blue iMessages still are deleted from phone to watch.

I heard you had to turn it on manually in the settings, not available there?

Not seeing anything via the watch or iPhone. Doesn’t appear in the face gallery either, just standard chronograph

Sorry, I should have made it clear I was talking about the hand washing feature. A few people thought they didn’t have it, but in reality they had to enter settings to turn it on.

Oh I see. Looked through the settings and couldn’t find anything. Quick Twitter search suggests it not available for S3. Perhaps it’s related to the improved gyroscope and microphone introduced on S4 onwards?

I have on my S4, and it runs pretty well.
Noticed that all force touch context menus are removed, replaced with either normal settings or long press, like how they did it to iOS.
Makes me think new S6 hardware will not have a force touch display.

Maybe to make way for the fingerprint sensor?

I installed the beta the 1st evening. So far it’s working great. A few little UI glitches but battery life is the same (I’ve not noticed any change), sleep works well. Uses approx 25% battery. I have a S4 watch. Hand washing - to answer the queries - the microphone symbol comes on as you start moving your hands in a washing motion. It obviously listens for water. Then it just starts automatically. Make sure it’s switched on in settings. Notifications work fine too. For beta 1 it’s great but as before with past watchOS betas there can be issues ahead. In my eyes beta 3 is always problematic. Let’s see.
great update. Loving the new features. Sleep is great! Plus you get a notification once your watch isfully charged as you hit the shower in the morning to top it back up.

One new face, Chronograph Pro

Thanks for that! I didn’t think to check the California face for new colours. The titanium and ceramic look great. Hope they aren’t removed in a later beta

Curious. Honestly, the hand washing feature is MUCH less important to me than sleep tracking.

The titanium, ceramic, and gold watch face colors were already there for people with titanium, ceramic, and gold watches, right? So is Apple really going to give them to everyone now, or are they included on this beta for everyone but the release version will only have those specific colors on the specific watch models? How has Apple done things in the past, does anyone know?

Is Handwashing limited to USA? Installed Watch OS 7 on my series 4 last night but can’t seem to find it in my settings or as a standalone app. I’m in Canada.
