I’m curious as to why they are going to be doing a public beta on watchOS 7. Also wondering if something is in the works for being able to rollback.

Yeah, the release notes don't have any warnings about not being able to back down like I recall from previous watchOS betas. (I could be missing something)

The titanium, ceramic, and gold watch face colors were already there for people with titanium, ceramic, and gold watches, right? So is Apple really going to give them to everyone now, or are they included on this beta for everyone but the release version will only have those specific colors on the specific watch models? How has Apple done things in the past, does anyone know?

Gold was available as of WatchOS 4. The real gold watch faces are still reserved only for the original Apple Watch Editions. The 18K Gold/Rose Gold. I can't speak for the nike or hemes faces as I still use the series 0.

Is Handwashing limited to USA? Installed Watch OS 7 on my series 4 last night but can’t seem to find it in my settings or as a standalone app. I’m in Canada.

I'd like to think the rest of the world washes their hands 🤣.

The Chronograph Pro watch face is the best IMO. The existing Chronograph face is nice, but the pro is more similar to some $$$$ Swiss watches

Is it just me or have animations been significantly sped up? Pressing the crown to go back to the app grid seems a lot faster than in watchOS 6.

I cannot access the App Store anymore unless I’m on wifi or a cellular connection. It wasn’t like that with WatchOS 6.

Installed it on my Series 4. AutoSleep works no problem. I haven't run into any app I use that doesn't work. Battery life has taken a hit, not terribly, I woke up with 83% after 8 hours of sleep. I usually wake up with close to 90%. I expect battery life will be up and down through watchOS 7 beta. I was expecting worse battery life but iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and watchOS 7 have been unusually stable for the 1st betas.

Now that 7 has sunk in a bit, battery life isn’t as good as it originally was. I find myself charging twice the amount I was with 6. I didn’t need to charge daily. Now I do.

I’m still impressed. The performance jump alone is worth upgrading.

Ok folks. I know this is a broad question but ok curious of how many have mad major issues with updating the beta on the watch? I did my phone today and am right on the cusp of updating the phone

I have a series 4 and i installed it the day after the event. I have no issues. Battery life is honestly the same as it was before for me. Os6 beta was way worse for me. This one is great.
