Install Watchos 7 Beta 2 in Series 3. I don't know how to activate the handwash timer (if possible in series 3)

I liked the new dials, they look a bit like the series 4 (and 5 I suppose) in the possibility of using the corners.

To be honest, the built-in apps do everything I need and now with native sleep tracking, I don't need any extra apps. It is a watch!

You're not wrong, but you're missing out. It's a very powerful platform now and allows you to go totally phoneless most days. It is, for starters, the very best podcast-listening platform, courtesy of the iCatcher app. AllTrails and Forecast Bar are other standouts.

I like WatchOS 7 but I don't like iOS14 (some iOS apps are not yet working), so I downgraded iOS to 13.6. The problem is now I have to live with a disconnected WatchOS until the final releases are up. Be careful. WatchOS 7 is good but this dependency iOS 14 - WatchOS 7 is frustrating. Do not upgrade yet!

Hmmm...perhaps that is one of the reasons why - to this point - there has been no public beta. My suspicion is that the impending public beta will offer some way around this or it is going to be very interesting to watch.

At this point I tried to reset my AW5 like an iPhone: pressed Crown Button + Side Button simultaneously until I have seen the Apple Logo and while booting I kept the Side Button Pressed, all of this while connected to the magnetic charger. I was then asked if I want to Reset my AW to factory settings and confirmed. At this point my AW is presenting me with a spinning wheel and it appears to be doing something, for more than an hour now. Hopefully it will restore it to the factory WatchOS. I will keep you posted once the spinning wheel is finished.

"It is going to be very interesting to watch" Pun intended? ;)

Seriously though, on the watchOS Public Beta page it says iOS 14 is required. I would hope people can remember that before downgrading. Or maybe the phone could give a warning about a paired watchOS 7 device before downgrading?

But I agree with you, it will indeed be very interesting to watch how this plays out.

You can't reset to watchOS 6 or something. If you upgrade it to 7, it will stay on 7. No-one that has no idea on watchOS beta shouldn't be upgraded.

Also, someone who's on beta since 3 years with watchOS and iOS, this is the worse iOS and watchOS beta process for me so far, and I "know" how buggy 1-4 can be. I am sure that no beta was like this.

-Constant reboots on standby
-LTE update failures drops the connection
-reset won't fix anything

I've read somewhere that Apple is working on an over-the-air OS recovery feature. Maybe this feature is close to be released, otherwise why they should have released a public beta.

Maybe that's why they haven't released the watchOS public beta yet.

IOS14 should be great once out of Beta. It is flakey at the moment.

Watch OS7 though is brilliant. Just like a final os.

Where is the beta profile because when I go to the website it still says coming soon.
Dev profile!

I have removed mine and awaiting the public beta one. Maybe it will drop next week.

Other than the storage issue, iOS 14 has been surprisingly stable for me. Apple really made up for iOS 13 last year.
iOS14 is hit and miss. For myself, Pokemon Go and Mario Kart do not work (which could be the apps need updating, rather than an iOS14 issue). But the main issue for me, when the battery is about 50% or lower, the whole phone grinds to a halt. Sometimes it's ok and runs perfect, but 9 times out of 10, slowness and need's charging for the speed to come back.

Perfectly fine with iOS13, so obviously a bug. Reported to Apple.

iPhone 6S.

I have this issue too...I'm still on 14 but my phone is restarting 8-10 times/day and I can't go back to 13 because of the Watch 😫
