so who is buying the ipad 3 when it comes out?

I am buying the newest iPad because: 1. I want to and 2. my 1st generation iPad is continuously crashing since IOS 5. I have been looking forward to the next one. I am sad and bewildered by Apple's attitude toward the original iPad and IOS 5. I hope someone starts a class action law suit.

I am most likely getting the third iPad, I don't have the first two though so it is exciting :D :D

I already have the iPhone 4S #

Short answer: Anyone who knows anything isn't talking. All the expectations and discussions are based on rumors / speculation / supposed leaks.

Remember that Apple hasn't said anything about a new ipad. They haven't scheduled a press conference / event or invited anyone. As far as anything directly attributable to Apple, there is the iPad2 and that's it.
 
Defenitely for me. I deploy to mid east in July for a year. Convinced the wife that giving her the Ipad 2 and me upgrading to Ipad 3 is perfect for us to Facetime while i'm gone!!

The best way is to look at iPhones (how they went up or down in price) - When 4 came with retina display and glas on both sides and other nice things, prices stayed at the same level... So my GUESS is, the prices are gonna be pretty much what we see today on the iPad 2 :)

Oooooh yeeeeah... - I have always bought apple products when they came out with new things - but for some reason, I never thought the iPad were "good" enough, so I waited till the right gen. and Its THIS one :D
 
Sold my iPad 2 and will be getting the 3 as soon as they are available on the Apple website (providing it has the hi-res display...) :D
 
Not getting a new ipad until my 1st gen busts!

Problem is it still works and looks like new! :apple:

This IS the iPad I'm waiting for with retina display!!! I will buy one then go to a 2-3 upgrade cycle...I can't keep upgrading every year.
 
I know it has twice the amount of pixels or something...but how come it's called "Retina" Display?
 
i will be buying iPad 3 64gb wifi 3g version black as soon as orders are been able to be placed online:):)

First time iPad buyer if I do, will be able to link it up with my MBP then :apple:

Looks like a promising iPad if the rumours are true.
