No, I am absolutely hate this colour palette. Look at the big red music icon, big green phone icon, go damn awful Game Centre icon. The whole OS is too bright to look good. I am much more prefer old set of colour palette. iOS 6 at least not look this childish to me

Well it's been 2 months so they probably won't change it, and I'm so glad :) maybe you can make the switch.

Girls are supposed to love girly colours haha

True, I've seen many posts regarding people's girlfriends/wives/daughters loving iOS 7 :p

I'm way less interested in the colours, and far more concerned about function. I actually don't mind the pastel shades, they will probably be easier on the eye when used for prolonged periods of time too.

Been using iOS 7 beta and so far I love it. Also I am an Asian American so maybe that explains it. lol

I am not a fan of the pastels and the general color scheme and icons etc. But I guess since I have used iOS 7 for so long, I have gotten used to it. So now it's like whatever. It does not bother me as much.

I'm sick of people labeling ****ing colors. It's a color. Get over it. It looks completely fine after a day or two when you get used to it. If you still feel insecure I invite you to stop using the phone and make sure everything you own is pitch black so you feel more secure with yourself.

Grow up.

Anyone who base their masculinity in the colors of their operating system should seriously reconsider their opinions.

I actually really like the new colours palette. Dark and wannabe pro is the past, lively and fun is the future trend :p

I already did... 4 days ago infact :D. Nexus 4 with stock Android... and... I'm AMAZED by it! I cannot believe I disregarded and criticized Android so much in the past. It's actually blowing my mind, it is way ahead of iOS, even ahead of iOS 7 too with all it's new features. And the best part, is the liberty Android offers me, I can do almost anything :D Loving the experience so far :D

Cool story bro.

All icons look different. There were already flat icons to begin with, so I didn't care.

I've seen some iOS 7 mockups that are very flat and use iOS 6's color scheme and they look a bit dull.

That's because people who don't like the changes in iOS7 have already moved on. The ones that remain in the forums are those that love iOS7 and get a little tingle in their dingle just from thinking and waiting (and waiting...) for it to be released - sad IMO.

Android really is the perfect place for people who say "tingle in their dingle".

Quoted for posterity and can you get the feck over your misogynist 50s views? It's embarrassing everyone here.

Nothing In his post was misogynistic.

It's design everyone will think of it differently. Calling some 'girly' or 'unprofessional' is simply a standard you personally believe while others could see it in an entirely different way an both would be right because it is inherently subjective.

Flat doesn't have to equal the color scheme that they chose but it's what they did choose. If it bothers someone so much then I would recommend they go somewhere else. But for the 99% who want a phone that is functional, looks great they will be happy by the improvements to the UI.

Maybe Apple wanted to keep the iPhone out of corporate people's hands. Could you imagine the military using this?
