Some Apple Retail Stores Opening Early Tomorrow for iPad Rush

Was lined up at the Manhasset, NY store. Worker just came out and told us no iPads today but to check tomorrow. At least I didn't have to wait that long.

At Fashsion Valley in San Diego. 2 in line but only. 4:30 am

Apple Store in The Woodlands, TX will open at 9am today. They had 4 employees here at 6:15am. I'm first in line and feeling hopeful, especially since online store shipments have slipped yet again to 4-5 weeks.

- Have they confirmed to you that they will have any in stock? They are opening at 10am though, correct?
I was just at Tysons and they told me that the store was opening at 9am, but that they would not have any iPads today. So the couple of us in line left.

How is the line looking? Any confirmation that they will actually be opening at 9AM? Thanks!

The manager showed up at 7am and told us he had no iPads and they would open at 10AM.

He didn't say whether he expected any or if they arrived that he would open the store early.

The Dallas Knox Street store is a bust. A staffer just told us they have nothing.

5 people in line at The Westchester Mall in White Plains NY
 
Christiana Mall Delaware

Over 100 people in line at the Chistiana mall in Delaware.... Got here at 7:40 and probably around #80. Hoping!
 
About 15 people in line here in king of Prussia, pa. Store is prepping to be opened with the greeter already at the door!

Same here at christiana mall, I am about #150.
 
So I was first in line at the Raleigh store, and around 7 AM an employee came out and told us that at that time, they didn't have a new shipment in, but they would let us know as soon as they knew of anything and they would pull people one by one and ask them what model they wanted.

An hour later, a manager came out and told us they would start taking us in one by one ahead of schedule, and I asked for a black 64 gb wifi-only model. They had it, and I was told it was actually stock leftover from Friday. I had mine at 8:15 am.

Also, when I left the store with the iPad 2 at 8:15 AM, there were at least 30 people in line.

At Albany NY store. They did not get a shipment and have no iPads.
 
no new shipments at Providence Place RI store

Just left apple store at Providence Place. No new ipad 2 shipments.
 
All of the "opening early to sell iPads" is turning into a sick joke- sick for those that want one that bad. Without a confirmation from Apple I can't help turn my aggravation towards the internet community on this one. That and my own gullibility.

Well Syracuse was a waste of time. They announced at 9am that they only had 15 iPads. There were about 80 people in line.
