I was at the White Plains, NY store and was told they would open tomorrow at 9am.

Thank you SO much! I'll be there!

Palo Alto

Palo Alto store is not open early tomorrow. They said that people can line up outside the store but they don't know what they'll have in stock, if anything.

When I call the store I say, "How would you like a question about something other than iPads?" They enthusiastically say, "Yes, that would make my day." Then I say, "Well, I'm sorry I can't help you with that now."

If I were trying to pick up chicks at the Apple Store, that would be my opener.

Anyone know if the Chicago North Michigan Ave or Lincoln Park stores are opening early?

I called both around 6pm today and both stores seemed to have no idea. LP normally opens earlier anyway, so we'll see.

Hi all,
Just got back from the Stonestown San Francisco Store. The sign in front said to ask a specialist about iPad stocks tomorrow(Tuesday). I went up to one and she said all San Francisco Apple stores are opening at 9am and receiving more stock tomorrow(Tuesday). Unfortunately, she wouldn't say which models.

Best

Akron Apple Store opening at 9 am

I called the Apple Store at the Summit Mall outside Akron and they confirmed that they are opening an hour early at 9 am Tuesday morning. The people answering the phones are mighty cheerful considering they must just be answering the same questions over and over again.

Garden State Plaza is a NO

The Apple Store at Garden State Plaza in NJ not only told me that they were NOT opening early, but added that this whole early-opening-Tuesday rumor was an internet hoax, and that it wasn't happening at any Apple Stores anywhere. Hmmm... guess somebody's getting a little sick of answering the phone and answering questions about when more iPads are coming in...

They actually were nice as could be, but yeah, told me it was a hoax.

Looks like they're completely out of the loop then apparently.

I called 3 Los Angeles (SF Valley) area stores at 8:45pm this evening and all said they were opening at 10am - their normal time.

Any news about availability at the 24/7 store in New York?

Went to the NYC 24-hour store tonight and asked about tomorrow morning. The sales guy told me that he didn't know what was coming in for sure (of course), but they usually get their shipments for the day between 7 AM and 10 AM.

East Coast Stores

It is 1 am Tuesday morning in California. Can anyone tell me if there are any lines forming in front of some of the East Coast Stores? I have fatal mac disease.

Regarding the Akron Store, they always open an hour early. Legacy Village in Cleveland told me they would open early. When I asked "Should I come and get in line" the guy on the phone said "YES".

What time are you planning on getting there?
