I assume you were ordering T-Mobile?What is crazy is that the minute it went live and everyone was finally able to get in to order. The one I had reserved in my bag was already sold out. And all I could think of is, how is that possible?

No Verizon. I reserved a 64GB Silver X. And it was sold out a few mins after launch. Thankfully I was able to get the 256GB version for Nov 3rd. But I wasn’t planning on spending that much. I guess I can’t complain. Cause I still got my Nov 3rd date.I assume you were ordering T-Mobile?
Exactly!! Same thing happened to me.Same here and it really pissed me off. I could have orderd it through the apple webpage but since I prequalified through the app it would not let me order the phone any other way than the (locked up) app.
4-5 weeks is not the end of the world or anything but I am pissed that I stayed up till 2 in the morning and pre-qualified for nothing. I wonder if it would do any good to call Apple customer service?
I woke up at 250am and had my iPhone, iPad Pro and iMac all on the Apple store page and/or app and ready to go. I kept force quitting the app over and over once the clock hit 301 and the phone accessed it first. Got it for Nov 3rd - 256GB Space Gray![]()
Yup same for me.Same, Apple Store app came online ~X:07 AM, and by then was 1-2 weeks..

I think the Apple Upgrade Program was a real advantage this time. On Monday I was able to get all the approvals out of the way (Citizens Bank, AT&T, Credit Card info), so when I finally broke through the front door of the app this morning, I was immediately presented with a "Finish your upgrade" button, then selected a delivery option and then done. If I had been required to fill all that information in at 3 AM I'm sure it would have been a nightmare.Apple App took about 13 minutes past expected time to let me in store. Once in, I kept getting error messages when they attempted to contact the AT&T servers. Took me a total of about 20 mins to order, which now puts me in the 2-3 week club. When I ordered Watch 3, I was in and out in less than 2 minutes.
64Gb Silver. Maybe had to do with the fact that I did it through AT&T. On Apple Store I was only able to get it reserved.Must be nice. I woke up this morning after a 3:10am pre-order only to find out Citizens denied my second IUP. Ordered using Next, Dec 11-18 ship date.
Which one did you order?
...said the guy wishing he had been able to score one.I don't see why anyone would be bothered by the experiences posted here. The iPhone X is a first generation and will be plagued with problems. The software will be plagued with problems. At least I know the simulator is plagued with problems. So for all those of you complaining, get used to it, its part of owning a first generation X. When so many production problems cause delays like this, it means manufacturing quality is on the edge. That means that initial devices are likely to require a lot of replacements, phone conversations with Apple and other tender loving care.
Why on Earth are people complaining about few weeks delay? Right now it is 5-6 weeks delay. I will be happy with two weeks delay.
