Honestly, why do people still buy cases?

Buy Apple Care for that little bit extra and then you can enjoy using your phone as Tim intended!

$200 plus $29 per broken screen is pretty expensive compared to a case. Plus, it only covers 2 years. What if you keep your phone for 3 or 4 years? Might as well get used to a case.

One customer was told by an Apple advisor that the case wasn't meant to have speaker holes, which is, of course, incorrect.

This is what happens when some fanatics have blind faith in Apple.

This reminds me so much of my own iPhone 6 ordeal back in 2014, the boxes shipped without any print and I kid you not, some treated it like an environmental breakthrough. 🙄

Indeed. As they found some iPhone 12 without any speakers holes, the Plant Manager quickly phoned the case factory and they changed the design. It’s the flexibility and adaptability that Tim talked about when defending Chinese manufacturing.

I got my iPhone 12 clear case yesterday and it has no speaker holes or lightning port cutout. Apple is sending me a replacement.

That is Apple’s subtle way of trying to silence you.
