What an incredibly ignorant statement. That’s what happens with the people who works from home. They don’t actually work as hard mentally.

You have no knowledge of how Apple developers have been working and if working from home as some may have been doing has impeded bug fixing. That’s what happens with the people who works from home. They don’t actually work as hard mentally.
People need to stop using WFH as an excuse. Apple had sloppy software and bugs like this before covid.
What an incredibly ignorant statement.
That happens to me maybe 3 times a week. I am not sure what the source is and makes me double guess if my headphones are not functioning. I am also not aware of a fix, it just goes back to working when it wants to.I've run into a couple bugs with Messages and Music. Sometimes in Messages, the app simply stops responding. I have to terminate and restart it.
Yesterday, Music stopped outputting audio any time it moved to the next track in my playlist. I could see that the song was playing by the progress indicator, but no sound was coming out.
I also do not and have not had FB installed but I was experiencing battery drain. Someone suggested disabling the Home Screen search feature and strangely that seems to have fixed it (or at least helped significantly… it is still too early to say if it is truly fixed).
Yes rushing out 16.1 is the way to fix all the perceived problems.
My wife got 14pro. First week battery was dead by 5pm every day. She kept telling me she was in meetings all day and didn’t use her phone. I kept saying BS, because the battery app was showing lots of Facebook activity 😂. We turned off background refresh for Facebook and problem fixed, she went from wanting her XR back to loving the 14. May not be a the fix for everyone and maybe it’s and Apple issue or possible Facebook issue. But needs to be fixedBattery drain is most likely related to the Facebook app that is doing who knows what in the background for hours upon hours. The background activity is happening on iOS 15 as well for that app, and they released an app update at the same time as iOS 16 was releasing.

My issue as well and I don't even have FB. I work in a sensitive environment where I can't have my phone out at all and I hate to see when I come off from work that my phone dropped 20% for no reason. My wife got 14pro. Very interesting. I had 16 on my 13 ProMax a week before my 14 ProMax came. Neither has had any battery drain issues in my own experience obviously others are having varied experiences. I just looked now and my background refresh for Facebook is off, probably always has been ;-). So your suggestion should be tried by folks may fix this issue for some.My wife got 14pro. That's ridiculous, sorry you're experiencing thatI can confirm my 98% battery health iPhone12 Pro Max has some serious drain after iOS16. Off charger at 8am-sh and it barely makes it to 7pm with only texting, and a couple of hours of web/socials.
