Are there any black Apple watch users on the forum? Does this problem only affect dark tattoos?

Will let you know once mine arrives!

Great!

I've met many an elderly person who argue differently.

Are they also racist and sexist? Who gives a crap what an elderly person thinks about tattoos?

Nothing wrong with getting a tattoo, though there are going to be some kind of consequences.

Again, Tattoos are a common thing.

Tattoos that cover the wrist are not common at all world wide. Stop inventing things. I've got nothing at all against being tattooed, but it does comes with its share of short term and long term issues; people either accept them, are don't get tattoos. You can't have it both ways.

Its not like getting tattooed is a disability... They choose to do it.

Who mentioned Google or Samsung. Quit with the stupid strawmen.

It's absolutely not a strawman. It's a completely valid comparison because we are dealing with the issue at hand:

If GOOGLE WEAR had issues with this, are you honestly saying you would be defending Google with the same rigor you have with Apple?

Not a strawman at all.

So in four years of development, Apple has not once tested this on tattoos?

Why would they do that? how many people with tattoos down to their wrists are going to buy one? Is unreal to think that you would test every possible scenario.:apple:

No, there is no "classy" tattoo.

While a personal choice, I always figured if nature wanted us to have tattoos, piercings etc. it would all be there.

Everything else is human interference with nature for????

Two blondes are talking about the same man.

"Did you know when I dated him he had his name tattooed on his private part?"

It says ADAM.

That is strange the other blond says.

"When I dated him it said AMSTERDAM!"

Siiiiigh

Apple is a company that should be inclusive of all people, not just the majority. Seeing all the snide, vulgar remarks in this thread only reminds me humans in general have a long way to go.

Do you really think Apple is discriminating against tattoo'ed users or that some inks just don't work well with this pretty new technology?

I visit all different kinds of forums for a range of my interests and it never ceases to amaze/depress me the level of rudeness, entitlement and elitism I find here on the macrumor forums.

This really deserves to be quoted. It isn't even the garden-variety trolling which infects so many forums, nor the sort of focused stupidity of places like 4Chan, etc. It's far worse than that. The MacRumors forums are largely functional, fast moving, and full of information (all good things), but soaked in this churlish arrogance and rudeness. It's the forum equivalent of that old Southern phrase, "well bless your heart!" delivered with a smile, but entirely intended to be a knife in the back.

It's a sad reflection of all the hard work the editorial team puts into content to have it essentially **** upon by spoiled brats.

Wow... can you show me these stats? i'd love to see them!

Show me the money.

Again, it doesn't have to cover your entire arm, just your wrist where the freaking watch is.

I really don't think it's fair to attempt to turn this into a "gate" and I don't think the general public will either. (Not that "gates" ever really affect sales anyway.)

.

Are you kidding, Gates prevented Apple from getting hundreds of millions of Mac sales they might otherwise have had.

Huh?

Are we arguing about tattoos (who cares what other people do to their bodies) or the Apple Watch not working well with full-sleeve and wrist tattoos (hey, not everything can be accounted for)?

I'm confused. Not sure what's wrong with having a tattoo, though I personally do not.

Just like how most people are born BLEACH BLOND RIGHT, or born with bodies that are sculpted like gods. Just like how women are born with make up right?

This is the dumbest thing I've seen in this thread... lmfao

The tattoos I don't really care about, but he loves a "god"? Loser.

I should have read it first... god cast Adam and Eve out of Eden for booting an Apple I. Just think what he would have done if they came out of the woods with tats?
