I don't have any issues whatsoever. I am not saying that other people aren't being honest, I just don't understand how a phone screen could be straining people's eyes or giving them headaches. Seems rather ridiculous to me.

Funny. I have an XS Max since launch day and I have had NONE of these issues. I also live in a very rural area. Is my phone special? Please explain it to me.
You must be lucky and have a tower near. I hunt a lot and no matter what iphone you have someone always has an android that gets reception when no iphone does. Can't stand android personally. It really doesn't matter what other people think, if one is happy with their iphone that is all that matters.

It’s a decent device, mine is going back. Ive got bitten by the OLED bug and can’t go back now. The XR is nice but I do notice the low PPI and I can’t get past the fuzziness of text.

I feel the same, watching full HDR content videos just blows it away for me in favour of the max. Also on text like the messages page. The brilliant contrast whites against the total black texts makes it pop out the screen.

I took my “ low budget” phone to Best Buy & had a Zagg screen protector installed, guess I will have to suffer through keeping it somehow...:)

Btw, the Max is a beautiful phone, truly it is but I think the OLED screen would make my eyes hurt after awhile. I also wonder how resistant that screen will be as it appears to wrap around the sides of the phone, hopefully Zagg has good solutions? Oh & the new iPad Pros are also beautiful.

Content & happy with my new phone, grateful to have it :)

I just had to get the Product Red phone, was so happy Apple has it for preorder day! Enjoy your new white phone:)

I got to handle one yesterday, it’s truly a beautiful phone. Enjoy it! Btw what are you doing for a screen protector?

I’m using a Spigen tempered glass screen protector. No issues with it at all. Doesn’t affect my FaceID or anything.

fuzziness of text? lol
I have a xs and when looking at the xr screen in the apple store I barely notice the difference. But for a fact there's no fuzziness on the xr text. You must have eagle eyes.
