I myself am a tall guy with big hands, when i tried on the apple watch for the first time, it was clear that the 38mm was too small for me, so i've had several 42mm models, HOWEVER I LOVE THE 38MM SS WITH LINK BRACELET!! for some reason, that watch/band combo just looks absolutely amazing in the smaller size even on my bigger hand/wrist. It reminds me of silver casio bracelet watch.

The Stainless Steel link bracelet is by far my favorite band. It looks and feels like nothing I have ever have owned before. And removing the links is seamless.

Hahaha, I know what you mean. I bought an original 1980's Casio watch from Japan 10 years ago and the smaller Apple Watch with link bracelet does indeed have that awesome retro vibe going on.

Shame it costs too much, but surprisingly happy with my black sports band to be honest, so no need to upgrade.

It's definitely over priced. But very unique on its own.

I have finally joined the dark side! My 42mm Space Black S2 arrived today. I found an open box in excellent condition on Best Buy for $50 off. With my $145 in BB Rewards money, I only paid $405, plus tax. It still had the paper on the Watch, the charging puck and the wall adapter. I guess someone bought it, opened the box and then, returned it. :D

For those who used to own Watch Sport S0s, how long did it take you to get used to the heavier weight of the SS? I have been wearing it for almost an hour and there is more of a weight difference than I expected.

About 2-3 days

So when can we get some love and get a black classic/modern buckle with the black lugs and black buckle piece? And how about a corresponding black leather loop?

I've come to really like the all black look of my space black Apple Watch.

No long at all. I love the weight of the stainless steel.

Won't take long at all, but you will end up with a left arm like Popeye! lol
[doublepost=1480415649][/doublepost]Hmmmmm, maybe this DLC coating isn't so strong after all...? Basically, I'm exchanging my new SB SS as the speaker is a bit dodgy, so thought I'd do a little scratch test on the one I'll be returning. I took just a normal SS knife and used the tip to make a few little swipes/flicks against the DLC coating and it left little scratches. I didn't even put much force into it either, so I have either got a duff coating on mine, or it's not as scratch resistant as thought.

Anyone else scratched their watch body this easily?

Ordered a Space Black SS S2 sport over the weekend for Ship to Store. Apple is saying it should be available on the 19th of Dec, which is fine by me as i'd rather be charged for it after my credit card bill hits on the 2nd. Although if I would have ordered it delivered to the house the estimate was Dec 14th, so i'm guessing/hoping it arrives at the store a bit sooner.

This is my first Apple Watch, been wanting one for a while but always decided to wait. Recently getting back into light exercising and healthy eating and decided to order one. I'm no where near healthy enough to exercise for a dedicated fitness tracker, so the Apple Watch is a blend that works for me until I need something dedicated.

After 24 hours, it still seems awkwardly heavy on my wrist.

I bought a Black/Gray Nike knock-off band to wear with my SB S2 tomorrow when I run. This will be the ultimate test to see if it is too heavy for me.

I have been running with my original Watch Sport for a year, so I have gotten used to the lighter weight of the aluminium. Worse case, I will return the SB SS for the SG Nike+ version.

What's the difference between space black and space grey??

Space Black is the more premium stainless model using an anodized process to make it scratch resistant. The stainless steel is also significantly heavier.

Space Gray uses 7000 Series aluminum on the Sport model, which is lighter and durable for fitness.

Still slightly concerned how scratch resistant the Space Black is after my tests though...

What do you mean "Tests?" Has your space black scratched? I just received mine today and love it so far.

Did you not read my post #883? I think people have missed it...

I don't agree with this at all. You intentionally took a knife to test the DLC coating and it scratched to your testing? Granted, it's your Watch and you can do so as you please. But your next Watch may not have "Dodgy" speaker, although the DLC coating will likely be exactly the same. Do you plan on scratching it with a knife again? If so and it scratches, do you plan on returning it because you intentionally damaged it?

I understand your concern with the DLC coating, but it seems you are intentionally looking for problems. Aside from the speaker, why don't you wear the Watch and enjoy it for what it is, without having to subject it to knife tests.

It was a faulty watch that was going back to the shop for a replacement anyway, so as it was faulty decided to do a scratch test on the DLC coating. What's wrong with that?

You didn't answer my question. Do you intend on intentionally scratching your new Black Stainless Watch with a knife when it arrives? As you assumed you may have received a "Duff" coating on the first shipment. If so, do you plan on returning it if scratches when you scratch it with a knife?

Of course not, the only reason I did on that one was out of curiosity as it was going back anyway. I was just seeing if anyone else had scratching issues regarding the body. If not, then it may have been a one off with the coating that's all. I'm not one of these idiots that takes the p*ss with company refund policies.

Hello guys. I'm a potential Space Black customer. I have a Space Grey Apple Watch Sport and every 3 days or so, the paint chips at the edge of the display. Turns out it's a well known issue and there's no proper fix for it. It's driving me mad and I'm seriously thinking of selling this and buying a Space Black. Does the Space Black have the same problem? I'm assuming they've colored the stainless steel? Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.

Not at all. I'm and electrician. Be worn my Space Black 0 gen since release day.. no notable scuffs on mine. It looks brand new.
