No, you probably can't. There isn't exactly a large market for link bracelets without the Watch. Especially not compared to the market for used Watches.
You'd be surprised. When Best Buy was clearing them out in the US, a lot of people were unloading them and just keeping the watch for themselves. There are a few for $300-500 ish now too (the 38mm being quite a bit cheaper). I'm actually having a harder time finding space black milanese loops.

So... what brand of leather bands look good with the stainless steel space black apple watch? All the bands I like have the regular stainless steel hardware that will look funky with the black.

I have it and it looks AMAZING in outdoor light. It basically screams 'this is a bad-ass watch'. It's actually brushed

Also it's really light/comfortable, and picks up your body heat super fast

Nice pictures. I also have the space black with the stainless link. My favorite combination

Exactly what I saw, that shiny silver with the black in between the black Watch and band. Think that black bands rocks with the all Stainless well.
Must say I saw the all Stainless in person today and was happy I chose the all black route.

that is the only reason why i didn't get the SB SS because it kind of limited when it comes to most leather band etc, most of the bands out there will clash with the black finish lol.

Well I mean, you can get the link band from not apple too :p

I've had both a high quality clone space black link bracelet and the genuine one from Apple. The clones scratch REAL easy. They look great the first few days you get them but they start to accumulate lots of scratches real quick.

And it looks pretty jarring since the scratches are bright silver on a black background. I'd wear a clone of the the bright silver link bracelet but not the black.

If you buy a black link bracelet clone, save it for special occasions and don't wear it every day. It'll look like hell in a month otherwise.

The Apple link bracelet seems almost impervious to damage. I don't know how they do it.

I have both the Stainless and black stainless link bracelets. They hold up well, but their not impervious. They do scratch and it's evident under certain lighting conditions.

Apple replaced my original stainless steel with a space black series 2. While I'm really happy with the improvements of the series 2 watch over the original, I'm not too sure about the colour, particularly when matched with my many bands with silver latches...

I enjoy this leather band as my daily wear band. I have link, leather loop black, nylon, sport all execellent bands but this is a really fantastic band. I'm. Not an affiliate of this company. Just love their product and customer service. https://formfunctionform.com/product/button-stud-apple-watch-band/

The black stainless is somewhat more difficult to pair with bands, but it looks good and almost changes hues of black in certain light.

Hello,

I have a question and I think there is no place better than this thread to find the answer:

Does the SB SS Apple watch suffer from that micro hairline scratches which can be seen under direct sunlight (caused by multiple cleaning processes, clothes, etc)? I know it has the DLC coating and it's harder to scratch than the SS version, but still: Does the watch still looks like out of the box after say... one year?

Thank you!

Mine has no scratches. I have had it since December 2015. So it has been more than a year.

I have had mine for only 6 months, but it has zero scratches and still looks the same as the day I bought it. The black coating has been fantastic and well worth the premium over the SG Sport! (Which I owned for a year)

Had mine since December 2015. I wear it every single day. No scratches.

Just curious how you got your SS Series 0 replaced with a SSSB Series 2? I have AppleCare+ on my original SS Apple Watch and would like the same upgrade! Thanks!

Anyone noticed the Apple series 2 space grey stainless link has disappeared from Apple.com store? Was there last week, now gone? Very odd, quality issues? What you guys reckon ?

Apple pulled the stainless steel link black bracket and stainless link bracelet Watch combinations back in March. They likely did to have less configurations in the line and it was their most expensive option, perhaps because of unpopularity. I doubt quality issues was a factor. I own both the black and stainless link bracelets, both are very high quality.

Ah ok, still seems odd to take away such a prolific option and pinnacle model? I mean it's only the link strap other than a stainless model. If it's selling without issue my guess is it would still be up there. Apple isn't renowned for being cheap, so it can't be a case of it being overpriced or out of people's reach financially. Apple is a money making machine, complicated product lines and combinations are what they do, more choice, more sales. My interpretation of this is cost of returns and negative feedback surrounding perceived quality, which I may add is unwarranted as the finish is great, unless obviously abused. I guess this means those who already have this combo will have an increasingly rare watch, with and more stable resell value, which is great news. By the way I have the space black stainless link (un scratched), and love it ;)

From what I was told by an Apple Store employee, and you can definitely take it with a grain of salt, is that some bands and colors were removed seasonally to promote and make room in the linup for the new spring lineup. From what she was indicating we may see summer/fall/winter lines that may include the return of some now missing favorites, though she would not go as far as comfirming that through their per policy of never conforming anything :)
