Mine will finally be delivered tomorrow. Long wait. How's Haptic feedback on y'all's? I see threads saying that Stainless dampens the feedback and it's hard to discern. What have been your experiences thus far?

I almost never miss one! I say "almost" because there may be a few times where I was moving around and missed one.

I don't have a Sport to compare to, but I would not be concerned by this at all

I just received mine and man it was worth the wait! What a beautiful piece of technology.

Hey everyone! Just got my SB LB and threw on a 3rd party adapter and an old school looking black band since the sport bands don't fit me well. Anyone willing to sell me an extra link or two?

Some of you might share this opinion (some might not), that while I like the leather loop band, I found it too light in color to suit my taste for pairing it with the SBSS watch. So I darkened the band -- several coats of mink oil, then some black shoe polish. I think it's a much better match. (And, btw, no polish residue on my arm after wearing the band all day, in case you're wondering about that.)

The leather buckle looks super nice and maybe is a bit darker as well. Plus the SS adds a nice contrast to it.

Well love reading this thread. I am waiting for mine to be here within 2 weeks. Got a question.

Is there any solution for the classic band (chrome) adapters working on the SS Space Black? Just seems like it would look strange to me.
I wear the classic almost exclusively as it seems to feel great on me.
Anyone got any pics of it?

Thanks

EDIT...Wow posted just after someone posted a pic. lol

made contact with concrete, its not a deposit :/
But that it made it out with only that its pretty strong.

Indeed.
I have numerous watches from plastic to stainless steel and titanium, none of them are 100% mint even with taking care.

At least with the DLC there is less chance of marking and damage.

@slvrscoobie You can check out the info from this post earlier...

If the brush with the concrete managed to gouge out the stainless on your band, the sharpie comment may be the best option to minimize the appearance.

Hmm. You could also buy one of the SS SB link bands that people are selling online (seems some people actually don't want them?!), then sell yours - the delta between cost / purchase price may be negligible. (I certainly wouldn't want to use one of my 2 AC+ accidental claims so quickly).

Sorry to see that so quickly man...that's gotta eat you up. :(

Thanks. I tried sharpie and it wore off pretty quickly. Really it's barely noticeable. If I hadn't bought a sport strap to wear to minimize this it wouldn't be so annoying. I'm sure it'll get nicked again. I have to bring it in to get AC anyway, I'll ask apple what to do

View attachment 564894 it's just that smalllllll white spot in the middle.
Hard to see...had to zoom in to see it! If I were you, I'd likely just try to ignore it. Maybe there's a car polish/wax would completely hide it?

You're saying you don't have AC+ yet? (but you want to add it?) Just call them up and get it over the phone. You haven't had it that long, they likely wouldn't even ask for an inspection.

I wouldn't use a claim for that - it really isn't noticeable.

Exactly. I'll be driving past an Apple Store today so I might just stop in. Depending on how busy it is. But yea I'm not going to claim it. Just annoying that I bought the sport strap to avoid it and on the first day I wore it....
