I'd get the space gray, because who wants to be like everybody else?
The same people that buy white cars. Over and over.

If you never owned silver, then get silver first. If you owned silver before or want to stand out a little more from the crowd since almost every MB I see is silver, then change it up for space gray.
Silver would be my first choice if I never owned it in that color yet. But if you have, then sorta color code and differentiate your MacBook. Similar to when buying your second car. Do you really want it to be the same color as your first?
saw this in store yesterday (13 non touch bar) and although it looks great, the scratches and scuffs were more noticeable.
You mean the Space Gray one right ? But most of the people would have some or the other cover put on it. That would make smudges less visible.
If everyone buys Space Gray (according to 9-to-5 poll)
Shouldn't you buy Silver to standout?
Mind=blown
(Yours will still stand out from the older machines because the lack of glowing Apple logo hehe)

What's strongly more sleek is the old MacBook Pro design with the glowing Apple logo and the perfect keyboardI strongly believe that Space Gray option looks much more sleek. And the shiny Apple logo on the back of the machine looks nice on Space Gray option.
Oh, I couldn't agree more. What's strongly more sleek is the old MacBook Pro design with the glowing Apple logo and the perfect keyboard
Debating on getting one before there all gone I doubt we'll ever see them againOh, I couldn't agree more.
I went with the silver one because I believe that it is a more elegant colour? I dunno, but every time I see a silver Macbook 12, the chrome logo against the matte finish of the lid just looks incredibly chic and tasteful. Plus, it's a colour that Steve Jobs personally chose, so there's that ahaha. On another note, I find it a little weird how Apple has seemingly phased out space grey on the iPhone 7 line, yet has continued with it on the macbooks? Perhaps space grey will be replaced with black in the next update.

For me, when faced with a difficult decision, I always ask what would Steve Jobs do? So that's why I chose silver then ahahain these situations, I always ask myself, WWJCD?
what would johnny cash do?!
and obviously, johnny cash would get the darkest, most badass looking one they have.
space grey it is! order placed.
I chose the 15 inch, so I'm still waiting, unfortunately. But there's plenty unboxings of the new silver 13-inch Macbook Pro and 12-inch Macbook on Youtube, so you could check them out I guessHave you got the delivery of your Macbok yet ? can you post pictures of the top lid of what you are talking about, like the Silver body with chrome logo ?
Also I saw the space grey in store 30min after they put out the display and it was already full of nasty smudges and fingerprints... anyways silver is classic... can't go wrong
is the fingerprint and smudges so visible and bad on the Space Grey ?
