Space Grey Sport with other bands [MERGED]

I love the SG watch, but I've come to the conclusion it doesn't look good with anything but the black band, so I'll be going for the regular one. It's more versatile.

Also, why no project red band?

I just wanted to post a pick I put together of the SG model with the white and blue band.
I bought the SG With black sports band but purchased the white sports band separately. While the white band does go better with the Silver aluminum compared to the space gray, I thought the SG looked so much nicer than the silver, especially the SG with the black sports band.

Went in for a second appointment today and this time it went very well. I didn't feel rushed like I did on the 10th and they let me swap bands out and compare different models at the same time. A few options with the space grey sport that look absolutely amazing are the blue and black leather loops. Am definitely going to pick one of them up as a daily driver and swap to the sport band for active use. Best combo in my opinion (was never a fan of the glossy finger print magnet).

I keep referencing your pictures because I ordered the large black loop and could have easily gotten away with the medium. Your black loop pic is what the band will pretty much look like on my wrist (the overlapping of the band high up) and your blue loop band represents what could have been. I even thought about canceling my pre order to get it right but think I am just going to live with it.

I should also mention that if I did cancel my order I would probably switch from SS to the SG with the medium blue loop. That is a sick look.

Think that looks pretty good! I haven't seen any real images of that combination yet

It's not only a matter of the price by the way. In fact, I personally find the Space Gray Apple Watch Sport to look nicer than that 'shiny' Stainless Steel of the regular Apple Watch. My opinion of course. :p

Space Gray is the way to go for me! :)
 
I too prefer the matte option to the shiny stainless. My space grey iphone has also taken a ton of abuse and had no scratches except for the screen, when I put it in my pocket with my keys for a second, and when I turned around too quick and bashed it into a radiator in my apartment. This material has demonstrated itself to be very resilient.
 
The person that was helping said that unfortunately I could swap the bands then we started chatting and ended up doing it lol. Well anyways, I'm really excited how to leather loop looks in my wrist with the SG sport, What you guys think ???? He said that they were going to have bands at the store on the 24th but then again he could be wrong. Will see , I'm definitely buying it one though. :D​





 
Thanks for all the great pics. I ordered they space grey sport, and was thinking of getting a second band for variety.

I really like the Milanese band — it's comfortable and easy to put on and adjust. However, even though it doesn't look too bad with the grey case, it doesn't really match either. I like the dark, satiny look of the grey case and the Milanese loop is bright and shiny.

More than the look, I worry the hard steel might damage the softer aluminum case over time. I think if I really had my heart set on the Milanese loop, I'd convince myself to spend the extra $200 and get the stainless steel Watch. The ideal combo would be the non-existent space black Milanese loop with the matching space black steel case — perhaps this will be an option in future releases.

The leather loops all look great. However, I have 185mm wrists and the large loop was a bit too big while the medium loop was difficult to get on. I have to go back to the store and spend some more time trying them on to see if they would work for me.

I would think it's just a matter of time before a Product Red band becomes available — that's bound to look nice with the space grey watches, too.

white is good... surprisingly though against the mock up I'm quite liking the green and grey....
 
Yeah I'm quite liking the green. Just went into the Apple Store to have another look.
