SPIGEN SGP Tough Armor Protective Case

They all come from the same factory. Only diff is the price and Spigen ships from their warehouse.

The knockoffs are probably production runs at night or stolen from the china factory by workers.

What I don't understand is that Spigen only sells the tough armour in 4 or 5 colors but alliexpress sells up to 10 colors.

I'm pissed I paid $30 for my smooth black when I could have gotten 10 tough armours in 10 colors plus 10 screen savers for same price!!!!!

As far as my experience goes, I did buy a couple of knock offs (slim armor) just to see how well they'd par against the original spigen slim armors.

Honestly, the original ones are good. The knock offs vary by quality; some are good, some are not. I did read somewhere that these knock offs are rejected products that did not pass the quality standard? So one can probably assume that some of them do come from the same manufacturer. In general though both the knock offs and the originals don't really vary much by quality.

If go for the slate. I have the black and it's a fingerprint and oil magnet. If I had the option I would have bought the slate.

Received my slate on Friday , with some mix reviews on fingerprint and scraches , am actually impressed with the quality , and how thin the case actually is compare to the outterbox commuter case , it feels great in hand don't notice the fingerprint magnet some talk about . One just has to get used to the slight smooth back but once you get the feel the case is great . I ordered from eBay it was on sale for $24.99 and I had some eBay bucks received the case for around $15 free shipping , I would recommend amazon , but if u can wait and have some eBay bucks ebay is a nice route . Shipping took about 8 days.

I have to say you made the right choice. It is a very high quality product. I've had a slim armor for the past 4 months and have enjoyed every moment when using it. Now I'm getting the tough armor to try it out and see if I like it. Only problem is if I can decide to go with the black or slate. Seems like most people would go for the slate, yes I know it's the same color of the iPhones back plate. But any reason to go or not to go with the black? Other than black being stealthy?

Pretty much every case has a KO version, varying in quality. It doesn't mean that they come from the same factory as the official versions.

I had a KO defender for my 4, and it was an obvious knock off, didn't even come close to the original. To say a knock off comes from the same factory just because it's decent quality is rediculous

Picked up a black leather Apple case for my iP5 and took off the Spigen case...but I'm hanging onto the ToughArmor case just in case.

I'm actually liking the Tough Armor more with extended use, it's the first case I haven't wanted to take off after a week. The sleep/wake button is super responsive after finally breaking it, and it goes great with the Glast Slim, just enough lay on the table without being a crazy big lip.

It's been over a month since I got this case and it's by far one of the best cases I have owned so far.

It ranks up there with the Magpul Field Case and Tech21 Impact Case.

I also own a Otterbox Armor which I'm also satisfied with as a case to use when the weather conditions get bad in my area.

I highly recommend the Tough Armor over the likes of the Otterbox Commuter and Defender. Only drawback is the lack of port covers.

My Tough Armor arrived today. Feels like a premium, classy and safe case, I'd highly recommend it if you don't mind some inevitable scuffs on the back.
