SPIGEN SGP Tough Armor Protective Case

I'll trade somebody my like-new smooth black Spigen Tough Armor case for a black leather Apple case in same condition.

After a day of use, i definitely like this case. It's solid, it feels great in the hand, the volume buttons are probably the most responsive buttons i've ever felt, sleep/wake not so much

I don't understand the comments about how some people find the edges of this case "sharp". I love how the edges are angled, i find it fits my hand much better that way. It's has more bulk to it than my Grip Candy, but suprisingly not by a whole lot.

The only thing i don't like about it, is how the Smooth Black backplate seems to attrached fingerprints and oils like crazy, it looks absolutely gorgeous on the Slate iPhone 5, but i slightly regret not getting the white or silver version

Hopefully Spigen starts selling the backplates on their own, like the Slim armor. I'd scoop up all the colors
 
Got mine today. Dont feel good on the hand like the magpul. It looks nice and all but I wish I got the grey for my space grey phone. I got the smooth black. And it's certainly smooth. Not much grip.

Hope Spigen sells the back plates alone

Nope. Why did you get this if you had the magpul? Reviews on the magpul are 100% better than this spigen.

Don't see how people shell out $25-30 for this case.

I paid $30 for one on Amazon then found one from China for $4.37 shipped, the china version feels like better quality than the real deal. Original case is overpriced.

Just to add some extra love for the Tough Armor cases - my wife and I have an iPhone 5 each, and I have a white case while she has a slate grey one. The cases are superb quality and look amazing.

My white one is still spotless and scratch-free. My wife's case has some minor scratching, but possibly because she keeps it in her bag with keys. But then again, the whole point is for the case to get scratched, not the phone!

After searching for cases for a long time, I'm delighted to have discovered these.
 
I just got the gold tough armor for my gold iphone. It fits really well and looks really good. For me, I had no issues with fingerprints on the backplate. I have a front and back screen protector as well and it fits really well.

All in all I give it a 10/10. Extremely satisfied.

Yep, for it to be sold for $5 tells you it takes about $2.00 or so to make one, that means Spigen is making a $20 plus profit from each original case they sell.

I had both real/replica and there is no difference, however the original that I had seem to have a cheap feel to it, perhaps it was the factory it was made at, there are a lot of fakes on eBay, I'm surprised spigen isn't stopping them.

I never thought to check for knockoffs. But if Spigen don't sell the backplates desperately, you could buy every color, 20 of them for $30
 
They all come from the same factory. Only diff is the price and Spigen ships from their warehouse.

The knockoffs are probably production runs at night or stolen from the china factory by workers.

What I don't understand is that Spigen only sells the tough armour in 4 or 5 colors but alliexpress sells up to 10 colors.

I'm pissed I paid $30 for my smooth black when I could have gotten 10 tough armours in 10 colors plus 10 screen savers for same price!!!!!
