Well if it's in a testing time frame I am happy to wait it out then. I guess I can put up with them while it's testing. However if you do the fonts to the same size of fonts as normal posts for them ads will be useful if you can that is. If not then that's cool. We will wait it out.

In the short term, the $25 annual subscription does removes these ads and others, though pushing that subscription was never the purpose of this.
At the very least, it's an obviously foreseeable side effect of littering threads with spam, almost none of which is relevant to the threads by the way. The vast majority of content here is generated and contributed by users, and if people don't like it, perhaps that will diminish over time. Or perhaps we will all just get used to zoning the junk posts out, rendering them just a waste of bandwidth, and worthless to advertisers. But I'm sure you've considered that.

I noticed a thread with the lost post sometime in 2012 reappearing, with no change other than a "sponsored post" added at the end of the thread. That shouldn't happen.

Been noticing that the ads are mostly appearing at the very last post on a page, and less in the middle of threads. Less noticeable IMO, I can live with it, but $25 a year is tempting

The ads won't show up in the top and middle of you are logged in.

And these abhorrent, unethical and misleading ads continue to infest threads despite the almost unanimous complaints against them, not to mention the recent security issue which seems to receive less attention than such monetization attempts.

Once more: STOP THOSE EMBEDDED ADS and put them back where they belong - top/bottom/sides of pages, NOT in the middle of threads.
