I hope the person that stole my Max received the color that he/she wanted. I believe it would be rough to end up with the wrong color......

I’m also looking for a good case that won’t add much bulk to my phone. I’m half tempted to go caseless but that’s not a great idea. I’m a cluts lol
I bought 2 spigen cases, got one on Friday and waiting on the other one. Got the thin fit and the liquid air.
The gold 256 max was delivered on Saturday morning by UPS . Ordered on Thursday evening. Very nice phone and this is one I can keep for a much longer time . Lighter than the 7+ and the exact size. Great display and I guess I have nothing negative to say about this.
UPS delivered an empty box to me on Friday. UPS handles pretty much everything so one of their employees cut open the box and stole the iPhone and resealed the box.
Isn't it worthless as a phone though. I thought phone companies started bricking them when they were stolen.
Ah yes. I put some thought into this and my guess is they sell it new in box to a 3rd party as a fraud and when that person try’s to activate they find out that they have a pretty paper weight.
This is why I never buy on eBay or places like it. Just a guess.
Personally, Speck cases have always worked well for my phones. I have one on my XS right now. They aren’t too bulky.
My UPS driver, said to me as he delivered my XsMAX asked if this was my new iPhone and I said yes.
They are definitely curious as all the carrier boxes look the same and are packed the same.
A lost or stolen iPhone is pretty much worthless since it can be tracked and deactivated.
A lost or stolen Laptop is probably much more valuable.
Sadly, I just learned that the Activation lock can be bypassed.....something called a SIM interposer
Blacklisted phones can still be used worldwide and the IMEI database isn't always shared between carriers..I know for a fact that even if u have a Sprint blacklisted phone it can be used on att and all other mvnos that use atts network. Once Sprint blacklists a phone I know also that TMobile participates in the same database as Sprint and as such a Sprint blacklisted phone can't be used on TMO or it's mvnos. So while it maybe a paperweight for some networks it can still be used on other networks.

I got my phone on Friday right away I noticed my screen was very yellowish. I’ve messed with everything nothing is fixing it half my screen is yellowish and the other half is blueish. My question is should I go to sprint or apple to try to get it fix?

Go to Settings, General, Accessibly, Display Accomodations, Color Filters.
You can adjust color tone and Hue here.
Also make sure Night Shift is off.
Probably be better to take to Apple,your screen definitely should not look like that,just show them the issue and they will probably replace for you. Also did you make sure the true tone was turned off? Because if it’s on the screen will appear yellowish.
My phone was supposed to be delivered Friday, but UPS wouldn’t release it because Sprint did not provide my apartment number (never mind that sprint has my apartment number listed on my billing and shipping address in every other instance) Saturday they told me it would be delivered Monday. It went out for delivery this morning then the status switched to “shipper requested we hold this package” . Just spent 30 minutes talking to order support and they don’t know why UPS is saying to hold it, but they’ll send it tomorrow instead. I just canceled the order I’m over it.
Geez. That is really annoying. Are you gunna go to a local store on Monday and just pick one up in person instead?
Yeah, I canceled my order and went into a store and picked one up. I’ll just do that from here on out, lol
So since Friday my phone is sitting in a UPD warehouse after their **** up. All I’m being told is “oh a supervisor said it’ll be delivered today so it should”. While the tracking info shows 0 of that.
Lol. I ordered a Spigen last week on amazon. It got delivered today. I’ll be putting it on as soon as I get home!
