Carrier Sprint 2018 New iPhone Pre-Order Thread

Is anyone having service issues after activating your new phone?

I didn't even get to activate it between the long holds waits down website and my schedule today lol just wasn't meant to be at least I did get the phone on time tho so I'm thankful for that.
 
I so preordered my xs max within minutes of pre-orders going live. Sprint Shipped my phone yesterday 9/20 but they shipped it 2nd day air. UPS listed my shipment delivery date as 9/21. My phone arrived last night at the local airport and then departed there at 10 pm last night. I took off half a day of work to be here for my order. it never arrived or moved from "in transit" to "out for delivery". I called UPS and the told me that since it was shipped 2nd day air, it wouldn't be delivered until Monday 9/24. So now I will have to take off Monday to be here for it. So I have a couple of question for those that had their shipped.

Is 2nd day air standard for Sprint? I got my X on release day last year and it was shipped overnight air.
Did Sprint screw up? Should I call them and complain?

When I called UPS they told me the delivery date of 9/21 was a place holder and that they will not deliver on Saturday because Sprint selected 2nd day air.

They screwed up it should have been next day air saver at the least

That was my thought too. If they are going to do 2nd day air, they should have shipped on Wednesday so it would be here today. On hold with Customer Service now. I guess I can't complain too much, at least mine hasn't been stolen...yet.

I ordered mine Wednesday the 19th and got next day air saver defaulted for 10 bucks.

That’s bs, something similar happened to me except they moved it to our for delivery but no one delivered it. When I called they claim my address was the issue and that someone will contact me tomorrow and try to deliver it tomorrow.
 
Mine activated after I connected to sprint chat for help in activating. While I was waiting for a rep to join the chat, my Xs max just started working.
I’m not having a hard time activating it. I got it activated earlier today. My issue is my service is primarily staying in 3G and insanely slow which is not usual for me when I was using my X
 
That’s bs, something similar happened to me except they moved it to our for delivery but no one delivered it. When I called they claim my address was the issue and that someone will contact me tomorrow and try to deliver it tomorrow.
Just spoke with CS rep he said it definitely should have shipped next day airsaver. He recommended I call local stores tomorrow and see if I can pick one up there. If so, they will cancel the shipment. If not, I'll have to take Monday off work and wait for the delivery. Sprint owes me two days of PTO.

Actually says for major metropolitan areas. Where are you located?

DFW I thought Saturday was an option too but the UPS rep said it's not. Shipper has to pay for Saturday Delivery. I hope she was wrong on that.

Ups very rarely ever delivers to me on Saturday most of my Saturday deliveries are FedEx. Ymmv
 
Received my phone at 5:44pm but had to make the trip to a sprint store to activate it. I love the larger screen on my max!!!

That’s definitely strange. Mine worked just fine when I left tonight. I hope you can get it figured out soon. Have you tried resetting the network settings yet?
 
While I wait for this Xs max to activate...my 44mm watch shipped lol and will be here Monday. Pretty pain free launch so far.
 
I must admit.... the new series 4 doesn’t seem much different to me than the previous generations.... I’ve only had the original Apple Watch though. The biggest improvement to me is the fluidity of the software, which is super nice

Only reason I ordered one is because my gf series 0 is pretty outdated and she wants my series 3. Otherwise I'd keep my 3 till next yr.

Don’t get me wrong. I am excited about it and I now own one lol. I need to compare it to an older model to really see the differences maybe? I love how smooth the animations are on it though!

Must agree.
Was not until page 27 last year that folks were finally getting into Sprint site for preorder.
Then an additional 70+ pages as things went wonky for many with a great number of preorders just hanging, having to cancel and start over a day late.
Now here just 24 pages in and have many satisfied customers signing off until next year...

Well done Sprint!

I had no problems at all I received both my phone and new Apple Watch around 1:30 pm,they both activated immediately.

I did. Just returned from the local police the empty box is now in their hands. On hold with order support...
I’m so sorry this happened to you,were they left on your porch? You can definitely tell that the tape was ripped off then reapplied. What did order support say?
