I saw the boxes being delivered. The boxes were left on my porch. I get another call from order support today. I had heard of this happening on the news just never thought I would be me.

Oh well.....the whole thing left a bitter taste in my mouth so I did not open the watch.

Must agree.
Was not until page 27 last year that folks were finally getting into Sprint site for preorder.
Then an additional 70+ pages as things went wonky for many with a great number of preorders just hanging, having to cancel and start over a day late.
Now here just 24 pages in and have many satisfied customers signing off until next year...

Well done Sprint!


Totally agree honestly! The last time I preordered with sprint was for the 7 launch and that was awful. Last year I did Best Buy in store pick up which was very smooth. This year things went very very good so I’ll give it another shot next year.

I used the system to hold a 64g silver Max on the 13th at like 8pm EST and the next day I ordered seamlessly at around 8:30am EST ans recieved a 21st delivery. But do you think that was because of the line-holding or because I chose a lesser desirable configuration? Thoughts?

After I called tech they got me in fast and bam within a few minutes I was done. My wait was a lot longer but it was worth it IMO I waited about 15 minutes

I hope the person that stole my Max received the color that he/she wanted. I believe it would be rough to end up with the wrong color......;)
 
Ups delivered mine yesterday but it's still in the box because i don't have a case or screen protector...they both come on monday

I hope Apple can remotely disable that stolen phone.
If stolen device is reported to apple they will can make it a paper weight. Please report device as stolen to apple and sprint both. Sprint should know what is the serial and imei for the device that was shipped to you.

It took me over an hour just to activate one phone I don’t think I’m going try to activate the other one today.
 
I finally got to make it into the store was activated in about 15 min...so if u can find a not so busy store and don't mind going out.

My chat with sprint tonight. Tried to tell me they weren’t waving activation fees, bs.

I feel like it comes down to who you talk to most of the time. It is bs that they are saying they aren’t.
I wasn’t going to take no for an answer though, I’ve been on the phone with them too much this past week for stupid thing that they have done and dropped the ball on.

Great news! I’m glad Sprint made it right for you. I sure hope that someone does an investigation into ups because someone on their staff took your phone. Also make sure that it was blacklisted that way whoever stole it can’t use it. I hate thieves,I had a similar incident happen to me a few years ago where I ordered a new MacBook and got an empty box from ups. Anyways glad it worked out for you.

Did you figure it out yet? I had the same issue. 2 stores, a repair hub, 2 chat agents, and sprint tele technical support all couldnt figure it out until today, a 3rd chat agent asked me to check this.. Apparently the phone comes with LTE turned off. stupid -_-

Go to settings>cellular>cellular data options. The tick 'Enable LTE' :) hope this helps!

Thank for replying!!! Yes, I saw that when I noticed I was having issues and turned it on, but it has not helped :(:(:(:(

Both my husband and I are having the same problem. Both of us upgraded to iPhone XS Max and our old phones (iPhone X) both show better service than our new phones. UGHHHHH
 
Sprint Update here. Got my new Gold XsMax on Friday no issues. Waited till Saturday afternoon because I knew there would be activation issues.
Called in Saturday an activated in 5 minutes
I will also say
I am on a SERO $40 +$10 Premium Data, Plan and my XsMAX costs me only $4.00 a Month with trading in my S8+ which is beast of a phone.
But the XsMAX is in a class above.
Display is noteworthy and brighter. The speakers are twice as loud, I think Sprint gave away the farm on this one.
