Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

I ordered two 32G phones (1 black, and 1 white) on Monday night (10/10/11) processed right away and got my shipping confirm yesterday for both. It says it will be here Friday (10/14) or Saturday (10/15).

Hope it is true.
 
I ordered an iPhone 4S with 32B on Sprint on 8th of October and i still havent gotten any email or tracking number. I only have the "shiny iphone" message on the order page.

Getting kinda worried.
 
yea I guess I should stop freaking out. The money is no longer pending, it is completely out of my account lol so its going to be here soon
 
UPS Update

Just to give you guys a heads up, I called UPS and asked them when my package will be delivered so I can make sure someone is home and was told it is scheduled to be delivered today by end of business. I asked what the latest time was and the rep said by 7pm. When I check the package in UPS it only says shipping label created, but when checked with www.packagetrackr.com it says to be delivered today. Hope this is really true and we can get our phones today!! 😀

OH. MY. GOD. That would be amazing.
 
I would of course LOVE for this to be true. But the UPS tracking would have at LEAST updated saying it was "out for delivery" if this were the case. All the package tracker sites are merely assuming 2-days from the 10th would be the 12th - they don't have any special information that you can't get from the UPS site.

STRONG odds say it's Friday.
 
Did you all pre-order from Sprint? I ordered from apple.com for a Sprint iPhone and still have no tracking information.

Is it safe to assume although I went through apple.com it will probably ship from the same location as if I did it through Sprint.com?

I had to call UPS because you got me excited about this. The guy I spoke with said they have not received the package from Sprint yet. If they get it today, it will be delivered on Friday. If they don't get the package until tomorrow, it won't come until Saturday. Bummer!
 
Mine still says shipping label created. Under expected it says 10/12. Does this mean when it will be delivered today or does it mean that is when ups expects to receive the package? Under packagemapping.com, it shows it in KY. If it starts there today it would definitely make it to my house friday.

I've never had a UPS delivery that didn't have up to date tracking info. If all you've got is a statement that the shipping label has been created then it hasn't been received by UPS yet.

These sites estimate the delivery date based on the date the label is created because they assume that the package went to UPS that same day.

BTW, I've had hundreds of deliveries from UPS. Now if it were coming by USPS then I'd agree with you because their tracking system stinks. UPS' tracking system is accurate.

I agree with you. I'm hoping that UPS already has the stuff out for delivery, but I have to imagine that as soon as UPS picks it up, it'll get hit with a barcode scanner, and then show up on their Tracking site. That said, with as many phones as we're dealing with, maybe they all got loaded in pallets and our individual phones won't get scanned until delivery... (I can hope, right?)

I've only seen this posted by other posters on here, so take it with a grain of salt: they seem to think that Apple orders are originating from Apple's warehouse in China and Sprint already had their phones in a warehouse in Kentucky.
 
Sprint.com/myorder says my order is not found WTF? First they cant provide me a tracking number and now my order isnt on their website -,- im really pissed now.

Hey you never know. I am being optimistic about this! Remember the email from Sprint did say your status might not even update until Friday so who knows it may still be a possibility! I hope!! lol
 
Your UPS tracking info will continue to show "Information Received" until UPS picks up the shipment from Sprint and the shipping label is scanned by UPS for the first time. Then your info will update and an expected delivery date will be shown.

All these people that think they have a chance to get their phones today need to chill out man! Sprint will not break the street date Apple imposed a month after they entered an agreement with Apple! We all want our phones as soon as possible, but it will be Friday the 14th the earliest for everyone. They created the lables early because of the high volume of orders they have. UPS is picking them up today.

My tracking number's still got no activity since Sunday, only "Ready for UPS" as I mentioned yesterday. I wasn't too worried through yesterday but hey, as long as it shows the initial origin scan by COB today I'll be happy. 🙄

I'd really hate to have to wait until potentially Mid-Saturday to get my phone.
 
No change in tracking status

I got my tracking number on monday and it's been the same since saying it has a label created I also called ups yesterday and they said they do not have it yet and chatted with a sprint rep and they told me that all pre orders are still expected to be delivered on the 14th or 15th. Im so hoping that mine will arrive friday! hope everyone else gets theirs as well on friday good luck!🙂
 
My order says:
"Your order is being shipped. iPhone pre-orders placed on Oct 11 or prior are targeted for delivery by Oct. 14 or Oct 15. Any iPhone orders placed on Oct 12 or later will take 3 to 8 business days for delivery. Click on the shipping tracking number to track the progress of your order. It make take 24 hours for your tracking number to be active. For all other orders, please allow 3-8 days for delivery."

Still says ready for UPS on the UPS site. And I'm going to be at NYC comic-con all day friday/saturday/sunday.... not sure if UPS would leave it at my door or not... anyone know if they require signatures?
