For me, the map focuses in on the Gulf of Guinea off of Nigeria. It doesn't say my phone is there specifically, but that is where the map goes to when I put in the tracking number.

Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

For me, the map focuses in on the Gulf of Guinea off of Nigeria. It doesn't say my phone is there specifically, but that is where the map goes to when I put in the tracking number.
The package icon is smack right on Washington Avenue downtown... like five minutes from here. I mean its probably not there, but I wonder if there's a UPS store there or something?
Dang, I kinda wanna go look now, haha.
Edit: Yep, street view says its right on the old warehouse on Washington that got converted into an indoor skating rink years ago. I haven't been inside there in a long time but I know its not a skating rink anymore... dun dun dun.

Mm they don't know what they talking about, anyways that's the reason apple is putting a tight shift from tomorrow to Thursday to show Sprint employees how to take care of customers and really explain why the iPhone is so special LOL
An update to my address change saga: I think they did it right! I don't have either of my tracking numbers yet, but the one I found by tracking by reference and plugging in my account number now comes up as "Delivery Address Change Requested." So for those of you who also need to change your addresses, here's what I did: I called order support, used option 3, option 3, option 1. Explained my situation to the representative. She took down my order numbers and the addresses I wanted them shipped to, and told me she was "escalating the request" or something along those lines, though "escalating" was definitely the word she used. 6-8 hours later, the status changed on that shipment.
Now, i'm still waiting for BOTH of my tracking numbers for 16GB black 4S's, and can only find one by searching for my account number, but progress is progress.
On a related note, is anyone else still waiting for a tracking number? I find it odd that I don't have them yet, since they supposedly ship tomorrow...

I have a feeling if we Sprint folks don't get something beyond "order label created" by tomorrow then we wont get it til Saturday
I am optimistic about this. I think there will be some movement tomorrow. I get the impression it will be Friday. 2nd day air(out of KY for me) would put it in KC sometime tomorrow hopefully, Thursday worst case, and still out for delivery on Friday. Have faith my friend. It's all we have until that box shows up anyway.
Maybe they've already delivered them all, but wrapped in an invisibility cloak that will automatically turn off on Friday.

I went to one of my local Sprint stores for my pre-order. I was required to purchase a $50 gift certificate (which would go toward the phone on release day) and they put my name and which model I wanted on their list. I was told I would be guaranteed one Friday, although they weren't sure how many they would receive. I was towards the top of the list so I am hoping they stay true to their word because I do not get out of work until 2:30 which is well after the Sprint store opens.
Fingers crossed they honor my pre-order and don't dish them out on a first come first served basis.
Can't wait! I've been stuck with my Palm Pre for 2+ years now, and have been off contract waiting for a Sprint/iPhone announcement to re-sign/upgrade for months.

LOL, that sucks! I placed my order on Saturday night and I got a tracking number like half an hour later. Of course having a tracking number doesn't guarantee that I'll be getting it by Friday. It hasn't even shipped yet. I think that iShip website is wrong. The UPS site says that at this point only a shipping label has been created.

I'm in the same boat with my 64GB White version
One of the black 16GBs that I ordered at 5AM EDT Friday just now (within the last 30 minutes) got a tracking number on sprint.com/myorder, though I have not yet gotten the email. The other one that I ordered 5-10 minutes later does not have a tracking number at this time.
yeah dont believe that map. Im in michigan and according to that map My phone is like in Canada. btw mine says the 12th as well but I'm not expecting it till fri.

Woot! Finally got my tracking number through UPS tracking reference, It just says "Order Processed: Ready for UPS".
I haven't received the official e-mail from Sprint yet though.
pre-ordered two 16gb black 4S's only got one tracking number but the weight is 1.80lbs hoping that's both of them.

I wonder how accurate packagetrackr.com is? I ordered mine a few minutes after Sprint started taking orders. UPS site says Order Processed: Ready for UPS but the packagetrackr site says its supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. I somehow doubt that it will.
I am with you on that... Mine says the same... delivery tomorrow but somehow it doesn't add up...
