Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

look above - we've seen confirmation of black 32gb, not 16 or 64. i'm checking on my 2 x 64's every few mins!

How can I check online? My dad ordered it for me on Friday and he doesn't know how to check the order status. He gave me his login for Sprint so where can I look for the status?
 
Got an email saying my black 32 GB has been processed and they provided a tracking#, but it has not yet been shipped.

Also noticed that the email says - if you are switching devices, do not turn your device on. Go to sprint.com/activate and follow the steps.

Looks like they will be providing a serial or ESN number either on or inside the box for us to activate online or over the phone.

I have two black 16gbs, neither have a tracking number yet. I wonder if they are working from the less popular ones up, or something along those lines? Otherwise it doesn't make much sense that they would hop around on colors and sizes like has been happening. I'd say 16gb Blacks are among the most popular models. Just a guess.

one guy in a different thread said he got his tracking number via email from sprint.
 
I ordered a black 32GB iPhone 4S on Friday around 6:00PM CST. Just got my shipment confirmation email. Ported my old 3GS's number from AT&T; according to the email from Sprint, the number has already transferred to the new phone, all I need to do is activate it upon arrival.

Looks like you're the first person in this thread to have a black 16GB update... congratulations! Neither of mine have yet, but at the rate things are going, I'd be surprised if there was anyone left without a tracking number by the end of today (or maybe early tomorrow).

Just out of curiosity, those of you who are getting updates on the 16 GB Blacks, are you using the dy-shso-*** numbers or the DM60-O-**** numbers to check the status?

With all the excitement, its important to keep in mind when Sprint says that your order has shipped, it really means "We've printed the UPS label and UPS will pick it up soon.

After that, UPS takes over. :D

Once I got the email the number on the order status page was changed to the dy-shso format. It doesnt look like it works on the UPS tracking site yet though, says it takes up to 24 hours to reflect there.

Yeah, its possible that they just decided to process the models that sold in smaller numbers before bulldozing through all the 16GBs... looks like those emails are going out now.
 
Just got my shipping confirmation email, black 16gb, shipped via UPS, ordered on launch day at about 3:30 in the morning.
 
OK I just checked and it says my order is being processed and its expected to be delivered on Friday or Saturday.

Is it behind schedule? What the hell does processing even mean? They're getting the money and shipment info together? Is it late?
