Sprint iPhone Pre-Order Status Thread

if uv ever 'chatted' to them, have you noticed how many reps they have called jessica or matt lol!? (sarcasm alert)
Yea I am new to Sprint but I have already noticed that and my phone has not even showed up. Is there customer service based out of Mexico or China?? Its got to be one of the two..more sarcasm..kinda!!
Order 4 for our family plan 2x black 16gb 1x white 16gb and 1x 32gb white - still nothing on the tracking.
I placed our order at 2:30AM on launch day after the sprint site finally went back up after being crashed for the first 2 hours

I would imagine shipments for the day are through as it's already 7:30 EST.
Of course, who knows where they're all processed from, if it's PST or whatever.
But again, I would imagine they're done shipping anything for the day.
Still don't see how it matters as be it shipped today (Monday), tomorrow (Tuesday) or the day after... they're still all going to show up on Friday just the same.

Its the peace of mind of knowing that you WILL have your phone delivered and avoid being screwed by sprint.
In reliability UPS>Sprint. The quicker UPS picks it up, the better.
Your point is very valid, although, until it's in my hands, activated by Sprint and I'm able to make a phone call with it... nothing is guaranteed.
When the RAZR came to sprint (Oh the hype back then), I ordered it with overnight shipping, It took them 3 weeks to deliver it and it went to PA instead of PR so 3 more weeks before I actually got my hands on it.
If the sprint store took pre orders, I would have done it there and picked it up at noon on friday, sadly I had to go directly with sprint.

I was just told by a Sprint Rep that my package was in possession of UPS and it is entirely possible for it to be delivered by the date I saw on ship.com of 10/12! So, to answer earlier questions....yes, it is possible for orders to get here before Friday!!

i don't know about the rest of you but i just got an email from sprint with both tracking numbers (black 32gb and white 32gb). taking off friday to track down the ups guy. don't lose hope
i used to work for ups. apple will ship all the phones out monday or tuesday, then by wednesday or thursday the phones will be near their local shipping hub. normally ups will hold items that are supposed to arrive on certain dates i.e: video games, iPhones, ps3. so that items make it places on their launch dates and everybody's happy. there are the occasions that these items that are supposed to be held to make it out early( human error. it happens) if that happened then yes a thursday delivery is possible, but highly unlikely. i read somewhere that everyone that preordered theirs(before they were sold out) will get it on friday. saturday at the latest(human errors do happen). i know that fedex drivers sometimes get packages on their trucks the day before they are supposed to be delivered and they (fedex) leaves up to the driver to determine if they have enough time in the day to deliver 2 days worth of packages in 1 day. I've been blessed with badass fedex and ups drivers that come earlier in the day. good luck to everyone else on friday

Did any of you get two order numbers?
I ordered my a white 32GB from Sprint this past Friday. I got an order number in the form of xx-xxxx-1234567 with a UPS tracking number. I log into my Sprint account to see another order, in the form of xxxx-O-12345678. Why are there two different types of order numbers?
Moreover, I was charged $379.68 for my phone. My Sprint account says I have a negative amount due (-$363.73). I called Sprint and they're not sure what these numbers mean, and only said it was my bank's fault. Why is there a negative amount due?
ALSO, did you guys have a $1 charge on your credit card from Nextel Communications? I asked Sprint and they said it was a shipping fee? They don't know either. Would it be from a pre-authorization charge for AutoPay (I signed up for that).

Don't use the DM60 order numbers, they don't update on the website. Use the dy-shsh-******** order number. The DM60 order number is for internal use really.

After she attempted the usual run around "will be there on the 14th/15th" nonsense, I called her out regarding the information I have found in this forum (way to go guys!). She tried to tell me that no orders had been shipped, and that no carrier had picked up any packages from their warehouse.
"Jessica: I do apologize however, Sprint has not yet shipped any devices thus far. When you ordered your device you were given a time frame of arrival being Oct. 14-15. Please be assured you will receive your device by then. I do apologize for the inconvenience."
So given her lack of information, and the wealth of information in the forum, my belief is that the shipping information being accessed at this point is for phones leaving China and headed to the US. She made it sound like the phones are still sitting in their warehouse, so my guess is that those shipments from overseas are headed to the warehouse(s). So lets hope that all goes as planned, and that it shows up on time. I dont care if it doesnt come early, just as long as it is not late.

Was it a different memory sizes and colors? We have been seeing orders like 16GB white and 16Gb black and etc being shipped with two separate tracking numbers..Don't know what's going on, but that's what is happening.
Just talked to Sprint and the Rep told me that what I was seeing meant that is was on Backorder.....Really Thats ************ Specially when most people who got theirs shipped already ordered after me......Come on Sprint
You're actually talking to people that I work for.. Sprint hasn't given us information on this at all, you should feel lucky that you are having your order shipped to the right address, we have much more issues than your "why isn't it here yet" issues. Every order is having an issue with it either being the wrong color, wrong size, wrong phone (iP4 or iP4S), wrong address, etc. All we can see is what you see on the site. The inventory is said to be in our warehouse, and UPS has provided tracking numbers for the packages. We have had over 22,000 orders placed for the iPhones alone. We even had to delay other orders for other phones to 3-8 business days because of this.
I can vouch for the agent as this is what I have been told to say and that Sprint has informed us that we have had tracking numbers provided for the orders, but they have not left the warehouse and are waiting to be picked up.
