Upgrade Online Sprint App & avoid the 30$ Upgrade fee it wont charge you regardless full price or upgrade
But then you'd be buying it through Sprint and not Apple, right?
It complicates things that I'm on the free for a year program, and can't upgrade through Sprint without losing my free plan.

I'm on an older subsidized family plan. I know this will need to be changed but I have been waiting until November when the last of multiple phones ends its 2 year agreement.
I plan to preorder on the 24 month purchasing plan. Will my current plan affect this preorder?

Odd, I’m still getting the sign on to sprint.com to upgrade message.
On top of that, my two 7+’s that have shown as upgradeable for the last month and did as late as list night are now showing as not eleigble.
Have you tried to download the Mysprint app from another device..? & they show Not eligiable? Weird
You can do it online ..but looks like you need to be adding a line for that 350 credit.. it will show up in 12 hours
I’m guessing they are just getting ready.. mine was fine for upgrade and then it wasn’t... if you select to add a new line the X comes up saying you can select it on the 27th
LOL this is stupid. I just went to the store and was told the $350 is just for trade in and is good now. So no new line needed.. but if you are on the upgrade program you get that much written off anyway (because that’s what you still owe) ...assuming you can get your hands on an X to even upgrade to.
Guess I’ll just sit here reading tracking posts for months and read all the scalpers bragging how they will make money on the multiple phones they get.
It’s just a new toy.. I’d love to have one to play with but if it takes months then oh well.

It happens to me. My plan is not allowed to be used at the Apple Store. (SERO) I have to order on Sprint's page.
My Sprint Exexutive rep had cancelled my current contracts yesterday in an attempt to make things smooth tonite.
It was just a glitch in the matrix, once he got
back in and rebooted it, the app (and online) allow FlexPay upgrade option.
Bet you are relieved to see that. I better check because mine said ineligible last night and I just figured it was the system getting ready

Thanks, I thought you were correct, as when I was going through the Sprint iPhone X site and added the 256gb iPhone x, the trade in discount doesn't show like it does the iPhone 8. Guess that means I'll be staying up late. Thanks for the info.
You’re welcome. I went to 2 sprint stores today and finally think I get it. LOL the only thing I didn’t like was understanding that if we preorder we can’t cancel until the phone arrives.
One thing I’m seeing that’s different via the app, if I go in like I’m upgrading to the 8, the flexpay 350 deal is not an option like it is on the web.
