So, for the record... this thread is horrible compared to last years during the 7's launch. I'm sure hoping for more entertainment when the "X" pre-orders begin.

Sprint users who actually bought from Sprint's website -- did the iPhone 8/8+ have a SIM card you had to activate or could you just move your SIM card from you old iPhone (iPhone 6 in my case) to the new phone? Just wondered if you could just go ahead and do that, since my previous iPhone 6 also was from Sprint.

Thanks!

You have the option to use the new SIM or use your old one. It shows the options when you go to activate

I’m sure Sprint (and all the other carriers, with extreme supply constraints on the X) will not disappoint and keep you entertained starting the last week of this month....

Has anyone ever preordered over the phone with Sprint? Is it easy? Fast? Because I was told that my account will only let me upgrade in person or over the phone. I guess because this is my very first upgrade from Sprint ever??

My experiences with Sprint over the phone for both the iPhone 7 and the iPad Pro 10.5 launch were horrible and took hours of time between the two.

Oh yikes. That’s not encouraging. What made it take so long? Did it take a while to connect to a rep?
Not to connect but after connecting to a rep. In both circumstances I was adding a device to a new line with a promotion and they have so many variations on promotions I got a new story every time I talked to them. Both times had to call back repeatedly to straighten things out.

Hey guys i have a iphone 7+ 256 gb and i can pay off the remaining amount of 370$ to upgrade early. I will pay it off before the X preorders start. Will i be able to trade in the 7+ and still be able to trade it online with my X preorder?

Hello,

I will be attempting to pre order the sprint iphone x from the apple website, i will be paying for it for the full price and had a few questions:

1. I know you need to enter the sprint account information when ordering from the apple website, if i need to buy two phones would i need to enter two sprint accounts? or would i be able to buy 2 iphones with the same account?

2. is the sprint iphone x compatible with verizon, att and tmobile sims?

Thanks!

You should be able to buy both x’s at the same time, on the same account, unless Apple limits it to one per.

The Sprint version is the same as the unlocked “world phone” that Apple sells, usually a few weeks after new model launch.
Dunno how Sprint handles unlocking Sprint specific fully paid for devices immediately at launch....

Sprint's 18 month flex lease pricing is out now for the iPhone X. For those with good credit, monthly payments are $41.67, $0 down for the 64GB, and $150 down for the 256GB.

I just noticed sprint only has 3 payment options. Were have i been , I actually have no choice but to lease the phone or pay for it out right.

1. Unknown how many iPhone X's Apple will allow per order.
2. Any iPhone X you buy directly from Apple should come unlocked.

Hopefully Sprint is bracing their servers for this. For the 6S and 7 launch, it took me more than 2 hours to finally complete the order.

Ok preorder time is coming and there are questions.. if I preorder online will I have to decide exactly what I want to do? What if I want to wait to decide if I’m willing to trade in my 7 until after I get the X? Depending on the wait time, I might just keep the 7. Or what if I get the X and just don’t like it? Does anyone know?
