so my cc got flagged for irregular use, after i attempted to order twice on sprint website. after i fixed the cc i tried a 3rd time and it went through but now i have 3 pending charges from sprint for 171.... even though i got 2 text from spring saying they were declined
 
I just got another order confirmation email. All but the Space Gray are scheduled for 11/3 delivery, as shown on the Sprint website.

Received another email order confirmation stating estimated ship date as of today again I wasn’t expecting much since I ordered at 7am but I may get launch day delivery after all
 
I went on Apples site to order at 2:00 am CST. Due to Apple not being able to communicate with Sprints server- it took almost 2 hours - but finally got an order to go through - but delivery date is now Dec 11-18!! (5-6 weeks). I just checked Apples order page- for an order placed right now- it’s still 5-6 weeks out- I couldn’ve slept through the night and ordered this morning without the hassle!
 
My original order got cancelled, but I was able to place a new one around 4am.

I just got this email saying it’s going to ship today.

mine shipped seperately last year as well, but i ordered late and was delayed twice.
 
The ones who got charged $10 for shipping... are you picking up at sprint or are your phones actually being shipped to you?
 
So I'm still on a subsidized phone plan and I was able to order an iPhone this morning for $549. However, shipping date is 12/11 - 12/18.

An hour later, I received an email with my "reservation" number, and instructions to complete my order. If I go through that, I can get an iPhone X in my cart with delivery date 11/3 - however this is at the non-subsidized price of $999.

So.... if I went ahead and cancelled out my current order and then used my reservation to reorder, would I be able to get the 11/3 delivery date and the $549 subsidized price?

I tried ordering through Apple's site and app and it was a buggy, error nightmare so I ordered through Sprint shortly after preorders went live. Woke up in the morning and checked status of order... said cancelled. I called and they said because I had some old Sprint account a long time ago, my credit verification didn't go through. The rep cleared it up with the credit dept but then told me I had to place a new order. Did it over the phone this morning at 9:00AM EST and still got a 11/3 delivery date. Seems like Sprint has the most stock of the iPhone X.

I can’t answer but you need to call and see what you can get a rep to do. In the system it’s my understanding that once you order, it takes up your upgrade and you can’t cancel until the phone arrives and you can decline.. but.. Be careful thinking you can go to the back of the line this late and get an 11/3 date. A rep might be able to redo your order but don’t trust what they say on delivery because they aren’t in the know

Let’s hope that’s true! Fingers crossed but I won’t believe it until I get a tracking number. :)

Thanks, it's probably not worth the risk - it's very strange that Sprint itself makes no mention of the subsidized phone prices on their website. In fact, even going into a brick and mortar they claim not to know about subsidized pricing. Yet you go to Apple Store and it's super easy.

I think waiting an extra month is worth avoiding any aggravation about trying to get the subsidized price if something goes wrong in cancelling.

I pretty much experienced the exact same issue

So odd

Got a txt saying issue w/order, specifically that the $10.74 charge for shipping did not process, so I needed to call and sort it out.

Could not get in touch w/my contact in Executive Services, so went through the painful telesales/CSR tree and got the usual runaround, with the call eventually being disconnected during convo with 3rd transfe (nobody bothered to try and re-establish contact, you KNOW they have my number, LOL)



My contact called about 45 minutes later, and we were both seeing through every metric available to us that the order was OK. While on the phone with him, the mrs said she got a voicemail from Sprint (around the same time I was talking to telesales/1st lvl CSR's-prolly right after they hung up on me) saying “Your order had canceled itself, please call when you are available to re-enter order”,

Thankfully, since I was on the phone w/Sprint Executive we double checked and all good everywhere in his and my online systems.

He even called back 2 hours later and saw that all was well still…


He’s reaching out to the Sprint CARE team for further verification
