No, you're right to be annoyed. It just doesnt feel good to have companies charge you extra for "Brand Loyalty".
(I'm even more annoyed that they email us that the Activation Fee is waived for every phone they have except the iPhone X.)

A backorder order number is one that has the letters BO. Sprint gives us order numbers but what we don’t see is the order number that is in the system on sprints side. My order that I see says delivered by 11/3, and says pending shipment. On sprints side it says sent to warehouse.
Anyway, sprint will be sending out however many phones to be delivered on the 3rd, to the earliest preorders. Lots of people will get them, the ship time 11/14 started kicking in late in the day, doesn’t apply to however many units they were alloted in the first place that will go to those first preorders, and to stores for walk-ins on the 3rd.
Same exact scenario for me. Dec 11-18 shipping. I did cancel my original order (figured shipping was still the same if I needed to reorder- so figured it was worth a shot). The reservation would not let me get the 2 yr contract price. I called customer support and after 2 hours of frustrating round a bouts - they basically told me there was nothing they could do to fix it)- But I was able to place an order on Apples order page for the 2 year contract- so I just reordered it- same shipping date Dec 11-18.
According to my chat with sprint none of us are getting this phone on release date

My guess is that this person is just going by the ship update table. There will be a lot of people that get the phone on launch day from sprint. That table shows what the ship dates are if people were to order the phone now.
Looks like the space gray 64gb just slipped to 11/21. Hoping us first day early-midday orders get ours within the expect frame.
Come on guys, it’s the same every year for every different launch. The chat reps through the carriers are the last to know anything. They just read their cookie cutter generic answers which mean nothing. A betting man would put good weight in saying that many many people will get launch day phones delivered. Many cases, the “status” online won’t even say shipped, it will just be at your door. It’s just the fact that there is so much going on at once and things can’t get updated in time.
Actually it's just certain carriers some Apple store orders are already leaving foxcon plant in China. If u have myups u can track it before getting a shipping confirmation
Lol I just called and had them cancel the second, there goes an hour of my life ha. So weird.
U need to have a ups my choice account which u can setup on ups.com fill in your info and anytime a package is sent via ups to your address it automatically pops up in you mychoice most of the time before tracking is sent.
I bought a sprint phone outright, as I'm a verizon employee and they went and cancelled all employee orders today to allow stock for real consumers.
So I went and bought an x on sprint. Assume I can cancel plan and pop my Verizon sim in and be done with it?

I think it needs to be unlocked if u bought it directly from Sprint...if I recall Sprint wont unlock the device till it's been on the Sprint network for 40 days..there are hopefully 3rd party unlock sellers though..I eventually plan to use the x on my TMO/ATT sim

I was one of the first to order. Per Sprint, my order is stuck pending and will never process They’re telling me there is no possible way to honor my original delivery date of 11/3. So disappointed!
Shipped from sprint to your house or where? When did you order and did you get tracking or what. Since it’s overnight shipping it’s not shipped, just prepped and will hit the road in a few days.. congrats!

Woohoo I just got tracking too! I stand corrected mine says 2 day shipping. But I believe they have to hold them and can’t deliver until the 3rd.

I thought everyone's stays pending till the phone is shipped..did you get an order confirmation..i ordered last 10/27 at 612p cst but didn't get this order confirmation till this morning..it shows my order still pending in order status also.

Gratz to everyone that has there phones shipping..hoping anyone that isn't in the 11/3 windows gets there's shortly after.
Think the grays are going out first as theres much higher demand for it as it seems...the only sprint version. That has slipped past 11/14 is the 64 space gray.
