You have to fight them. Went through 2 reps via chat to where they literally changed the verbiage on the upgrade page to show the $41 & not $22. I had to tell them his because you change the page now doesn’t mean a thing. I literally took a pic before this chat. So I gave up & called & advised the rep of the struggles I was having. He said he would be applied accordingly, I asked for an email confirmation he said he couldn’t but he’d notate the account if I had issues. But the fact the chat rep put me on hold to have someone adjust the webpage itself is ridiculous. Smh

Chances are two months from now when your credit hasn’t gone through they will say there is no note on your account and there is nothing they can do because you didn’t own the phone.

I’d be willing to bet my left nut.

This x10000. This is sprint's MO in my 2+ years with them. They will say/do anything to get you off the phone or off chat then when the next bill comes and nothing is done its another couple hours fighting with them only to have them say "We don't see anything noted on your account, as a one time courtesy we can credit your bill $10 for the inconvenience."

It has happened to me everytime with sprint, who has horrific customer service. I mean think about it logically, unless you buy out your lease sprint owns that phone. You have to return it to get the upgrade. Why on earth would they pay you $350.00 to turn in a phone you had to turn in anyway? I get that the language on the promo deal was vague at first and I hope that the few people on here who had it added to their account get it, but I think they caught on and are not honoring that deal anymore so to say that it is an active normal part of the promo is incorrect because everytime I contact them they are adamant about you having to own the phone.

I don't know how the return process is as this is my first time going through sprint.com for an upgrade but when you return the device what makes sprint know that this phone is being returned because you're returning it to upgrade as part of the normal iphone forever plan vs this phone is being "traded-in" for the $350.00 promotion. Unless they send you a separate return kit or paperwork to include in the box it's likely that they get the phone and just process it as a return rather than a trade in.
 
I'm giving up on trying to get this $350 promo. There is no way that they are applying the credit to people just trading in phones that are leased or on installment billing. That is what I was told by the rep and that is what I was told when they came back with a supervisor. Good luck to everyone who is getting it in 2 months but sprint won't budge for me they are saying that those on iphone forever are just "eligible" for the promo but to get the promo you need to trade in a phone that is OWNED by you and not something due back to sprint. Which makes sense of course because why would sprint give you $350 for a phone that they are owed back anyway. Anyway I hope sprint doesn't screw you guys over in 2 months but for now I am having no luck with getting them to apply this.
Yeah I gave up I’m just gonna pay it off and sell it I have 30 days to do so

not necessarily buyers remorse but the UX feels unfinished on the X...namely the damned virtual keyboard layouts...the emoji and globe gettin an entire row at the bottom is absolutely hideous...i hope it gets fixed/changed.

There's nothing to fix. It's perfect that way.

So........my order is stuck in "preparing" for a couple of days now. Any idea how long it'll take to get out of that particular limbo? I ordered from Best Buy because Sprint's site wouldn't let me complete the order due to a two factor authentication error.

Yeah.... Best Buy screwed me over with that same issue there until my order got pushed back until December instead of launch date so I canceled and went through Sprint. Sprint says sometime this month in another week or so. I’ll take it. Have you tried calling Sprint up? Or Best Buy for that matter?
 
For those in the 11/14 delivery camp: Haven’t received a notification from Sprint yet, but I just checked UPS MyChoice and I have a 2.2lb package from Sprint scheduled to be delivered on Tuesday!

Ordered two 256GB Silver models around 4pm on 10/29 (original 10/27 order was trashed by sprint’s servers)
 
You guys they have them available for pick up at any Apple store. Try checking to order for pick up. I had a chance to order another today any color and any size when I looked at the apple app this morning around 07:00. So if your still waiting, you can pick one up tomorrow. Just check the Apple app!

Thanks! So I’ve heard. Bit of a weird question but do you know if they make you activate the phone on the spot? Or can I do it on my own/at a Sprint Store without Apple’s help after purchasing?

I want to say they make you activate it there. I’m not sure if they still sell totally unlocked iPhones not linked to any carrier, at least it doesn’t give you an option like they use to have in the past to select “unlocked” vs selecting any of the major carriers.

I may be wrong though, you can ask if you can just hold off on activating it there, they may very well let you.
 
11/14 orders already starting to ship! ETA is Tuesday but I’m thinking the delivery date will probably be updated to tomorrow

What time did you order? I ordered a space gray 64GB at 10:15 PM on 10/27 and it's still saying processing.. So i'm on the phone now with Sprint.

I put the tracking number into the UPS site and my delivery date is tomorrow, it stated the original date was Tuesday. But I guess everything is shipping faster

Now I'm thinking about canceling the order they have me signed up for the flex pay again and say the new phone comes out next year i'm stuck for 18 months with the old phone kinda what happened with my 6+ I have now.. she said in order to get the annual upgrade I have to go in a Sprint store to do that and it's like $5 extra but they would have to cancel my current order..

Shes saying right now it says the order wont ship until the 27th.. So that's almost 3 weeks away.. right now I'm leaning to cancel and sign up with the annual upgrade.. but I don't know if I'm going to have some crazy charge they will try and hit me with in a sprint store.. which is why I told the lady to call me back on Wed.

Mine was updated to tomorrow as well Yay! Worked out perfectly since I was already scheduled to work from home
 
Ordered my iPhone X on Friday afternoon. It said delivery by 12/8 so I was fine with that. Got an email last night saying it's been shipped. I get my X tomorrow! I wasn't even going to upgrade but I'm under the iPhone Forever program so why not.

I have the same scenario. I wasn’t going to upgrade but decided to. I ordered Thursday and it hasn’t shipped yet. But i had in my mind 12/8. So you ordered this past Friday 11-3?

I ordered on pre-order day, the 27th, and I still haven’t received any updates. Hope it ships soon.

Thats correct. Ordered 11/3 in the evening. I'm sure yours will be bumped up as well.
