I ordered an 8+ Silver 64GB

I ordered the same model much later. I'm not worried right now and if I remember correctly my Matte Black 128GB started moving that Wednesday/Thursday. The reference number trick worked so I had the tracking info way before Sprint gave it to me.

What did you use for reference number? It seems different things work for different people. Phone numbers, enterprise numbers, etc. I can’t use Mychoice. My delivery address is my work address. My apartment building tends to loose packages so I don’t ship anything there.

Same here, I don't risk it when it comes to an iPhone. I've used my order number, enterprise number, and phone number. No dice.
 
I remember one year it didn't matter whether you paid for overnight shipping or not, everyone gets them the same day. They are held for a Friday delivery.

Yea, not sure why folks fall for this, and its shameful of carriers to even offer it for presell.
If you preordered and are in the 1st wave to get the device on launch day, you won't get it any faster.
That's not to say that there are not a few that slip through and are deliverd early, but that's rare and not due to any premium shipping....

The sad thing is that Sprint charged me for overnight shipping. I wonder if I can have them refund that money based on past preorders?

I didn’t even ask for overnight shipping. I couldn’t even opt out. I don’t think it was an option when I preordered my 7 though. .

You should not be able to opt out, since they SHOULD be sending it expedited @ no charge.
If I saw that on my bill for launch day delivery I would definitely get them to remove any expidited shipping upcharge...

Just received an email from Sprint 5minutes ago stating they just shipped all 3 of my iphones. I ordered Friday morning around 9:30 am

Trying to figure out if it’s the model and color I ordered that’s pushing my shipment back behind people who ordered later in the day.

They gave me the option of going to a sprint corporate store to exchange it the day I receive the phone. Do you think this is the best option and what are the chances they will have them in store to exchange?

Just received my shipping email about 20 minutes ago. I ordered the 64GB 8+ Gold around 4:00 AM EST.

Think there is probably a decent chance of a selection if you live in a big city and go to a corporate store.
They MAY try to charge a restocking fee....

My 8+ Silver 64GB shipped this morning. Woohoo! Seems like these shipping E-Mails go out in waves regardless of when they ship. I ordered around 1:20AM CT when preorders went live.

On my order confirmation, it shows that overnight shipping and delivery was $10 for me. I don't remember seeing any other option at checkout, Yet I was flying through it, paying $10 was the least of my concerns lol
 
I ordered the 8+, space grey, 64gb at 2:00am CST on 9/15. I have still not received tracking info yet and sprint.com/myorder still shows as pending. I took Friday off so I can be here to sign for it and I’m starting to get more anxious after every hour passes that I don’t get my shipping email.
 
Still a sitting duck here. My first order of one SG 64GB 8+ hasn’t shipped so I know my second one hasn’t. I know it’s coming but I’m just anxious haha.

I wouldn't worry. From what I've gathered, They send out shipping confirmations in 2 waves, the morning and in the evening. I have tracking but it's not pulling anything information up in UPS's system yet. Could mean they have it packaged and ready for pickup but UPS hasn't picked it up yet.
[doublepost=1505920109][/doublepost]It seems the only shipping option they made available was next business day, so as long as you get shipping confirmation by tomorrow, you will get it Friday. If you don't get it by tomorrow evening, I'd start to get nervous.
