Well of course the order was placed before the email was sent. But you could have ordered at 12:03 and the email could have a time stamp of 12:01. The time stamp doesn't come from Apple's servers but from the email servers in between or even the time on your own system. So if any of the systems in between were set a couple of minutes early it would show an earlier time.
You do know that email time stamps don't mean Jack, right? That has no bearing on the time the order was actually placed. None of us can prove that our order was placed at any specific time, but the argument is fun.

My order (42mm) was completed at 0004 hours PST and still got a June delivery date. The app was down until 0003, then I submitted my order.
I don't understand why others received a May delivery date that was placed after my order.
I am actually loosing steam over the AW. I might just keep the SG Sport (delivery in the second band of deliveries in May, order placed seperatly after I ordered the SS) and save the money for v2, and sell the black SS when I receive it.
Just have to wait and see.

*Side Bar* Nice! (Not that your AW is delivering in July) but the Disney Cruise. I can't wait to go on another next year on one of the new boats.

I hate to break it to you, but the store didn't go live until 12:02AM
If your order confirmation email has a time earlier than that, then it's the time being off on any email servers involved or your own system. I ordered mine the within 30 sec of the app going live and my email was time stamped at 12:03AM, which is probably accurate. Not that it matters.
App went live at 3:01(est) for me. My confirmation is 3:01. I ordered with apple pay in like 20 seconds.
I wanted a complete blackout but my wife gets her SS White Sport Band tomorrow so I probably won't be able to keep my hands off it. I will be jealous for the next 2-4 weeks though.
I needed to hide the Apple Watch app. I feel like it's mocking me, laughing at me, and reminding me how less fortunate I am than the lucky few who are receiving their watches tomorrow. I can't take it anymore.
I've got that and a pending charge for the AppleCare+ on the watch I won't see for 2-4 weeks mocking me.

So... glad I got AppleCare. Though it sounds like it'll hold up extremely well to normal use.
not really, theres been no activity for the space black watches. but if it does you might lose ur place in line.
I am sure it's a long shot but at the same time I wouldn't roll the dice, I have just over $1600AU parked in an account linked to a debit card waiting to be sucked out too.......

) My SGSSL still says July.. I'm guessing that sport is going to be waved in my face a lot in the coming weeks/months! I have a theory (problem it is only a theory)
When you read the thread when the watches have been made, you see that most of them have been made the last 3 weeks. So, the link,bracelet takes more time, espacialy the black space model, we should now in near future see a fast improvement of the shipping of this model ;-) just keep thinking positively ;-)
