I'm going to come out and say it. If they couldn't make Space Black cases and bands in time for launch, they aren't going to be able to make them in time for May 13-27th. There's something about the link watches (besides how much better they are than any other band) that are making them difficult to produce and ship. It's the only band (Stainless Link and Space Black) I haven't seen a "Shipped" screenshot for.

I'm a bit worried when even the stores didn't get them for try on appointments. If it will be the 13th we have 20 days to go.....
I think that they will make it as there are very few may orders, only reason that they seem to have not shipped them so far is due to them time that they take to make, compared to getting more sports models shipped

Sorry, I'm just frustrated, as we probably all are. If there were any further delays I think apple will let us know.

They're always conservative. I've never heard of a case where they delivered something later than the estimate.

Judging by these forums, only people who ordered *very early* as soon as the pre-orders went live at 8.01am BST on 10 April received a May window for the Space Black, with the window very quickly slipping to June, and then later July.
My confirmation came through at 8.24am, with a June window.

I would be willing to wager I was one of the first orders, my confirmation email came about a minute after I completed the transaction in the app.
Still very skeptical it will ship during that window based on the complete lack of any link watches floating around in any capacity. Beyonce's gold link is the only one I think I've seen in the wild beside a few store models.
There's still a hold on my credit card for the AppleCare+ for this watch...which I guess is just going to sit there for the next 2-4 weeks.

Which reinforces that they didn't have a SINGLE Space Black watch produced and ready to ship or even have one in the pipeline for production within two weeks. Which is asinine. They've had months to produce the cases and bands of the watch but only chose to start building them once they were sure people would buy them? News for whoever's job it is at Apple to figure out whether people will buy their products...YOU WILL SELL OUT at launch. Surprise! You should have started production of base structural components (the parts that take the longest to make and are unique to this model of watch) months ago.

If your order confirmation email has a time earlier than that, then it's the time being off on any email servers involved or your own system. I ordered mine the within 30 sec of the app going live and my email was time stamped at 12:03AM, which is probably accurate. Not that it matters.

No, the site went live at 12:01. I saw the time as I ordered the watch and my confirmation email was sent at 12:01.
My time stamp is 12:02AM PST so it probably went live at 12:01. I took a few seconds to decide if I wanted Apple Care Plus or not LOL!
Well, we can argue about a minute all night, but I had my iPhone, iPad, iMac all in front of my and I know the time was right on all of them and I was refreshing like a mad man, and it was shortly after 12:02 when if finally came up. If you want to duke it out, I'll meet you outside tonight at 12:01AM, just make sure your clock isn't off, because I'll leave at 12:02.

It went live at different times - the app went live at about 2.5 min after 0000 here. Ordered my wife's first (38mm Al GSB) and got email at 0005, shipping 4/24-5/8 (which will arrive tomorrow). My 42mm SS SB confirmation was 0008 shipping June. Had to order separately as the app wouldn't allow me to use the cart. ¯\(°_O)/¯

The Apple Store app was up for me at 12:01, although my order was not placed until 12:04.
You do know that email time stamps don't mean Jack, right? That has no bearing on the time the order was actually placed. None of us can prove that our order was placed at any specific time, but the argument is fun.
