This was a review unit sent to this guy. You can see he is located in California and he received it before the launch. I have yet to see an actual launch Link Bracelet watch, space black or SS.
 
When do people expect us to start seeing movement on these? I know that nothing is guaranteed until 5/27, but I'm thinking (hoping) that we might see some activity at some point this week.

At this point, its anyone's guess. My guess by the end of next week we will see someone with a charge on their CC

I hope this coming week we will see some movement. Unfortunately based on what seems to be a complete absence of this model, even in some stores, I think it may actually be May 13th at the earliest. I hope I'm wrong though!

Yeah, I'm actually wondering if maybe there are really two release dates for the Apple Watch—April 24 for most of them, and then May 13 for all of the models that started with 4-6 week delivery times.

I think you may be right, especially if there is a production issue.

Just checked current delivery dates for new orders. The only watches across all three lines with July estimates are the 42mm SS Black and Pink Modern Buckle. Just thought that was interesting.
 
Is there a reason while we still havent got a window?

June isnt very percise, and we all mostly ordered on the 10th

And someone in one of the bigger threads said the Space Black Link Watches were still the glass display case but had been pulled from the try-on drawers at Apple Stores. Dunno how accurate that is, but if true: either they are pulling them to flip and sell to us (lol) or something's up.

As far as I know, not very many stores even had them in the try-on drawers at all.

This is true. In my opinion this is just further proof of production issues or delays, it would seem to imply that none have even been made yet except a few to put under glass.

U do remember that they "sold out" almost imediately right? It was like the first 10 buyers took up the may dates and everyone else got dummy dates like "june" or "july"

I bet you the may dates are going to get pushed back tho

There are more than 10 of us with May dates. I think we just need to chill and see what happens. They could be all ready to go and they just were waiting to get the bulk of orders out the way.

I tried the a SB on yesterday they didn't have any in the fittings drawer but they do have spares for the display case :) even the staff in store didn't know this as none of them had even tried one on including 3 staff that had ordered them, once i was trying it on you should have seen the amount of people that were interested
By far the best watch in the line up


These are sample watches so it won't power up (only work on the demo loop when in the display case) and the straps can't be removed etc
But worth asking in store
 
Not to get anyone's hopes up, but I just went to check my order status and it constantly says 'orders are not available at this time, please try again later'

Please let this be a sign!! :D
